Good Digital Discussions Require More than Clicking "Post"

Online discussions can give students opportunities to share ideas, respond to classmates, and think deeply about a topic. However, effective digital communication requires students to participate thoughtfully. 

Students need to learn how to provide meaningful responses, give supportive feedback, choose their words carefully, and follow appropriate online communication etiquette.
