This is Comet.

Comet is a gray and white cat with soft fur.

He loves to play, sleep, and be near his favorite person.

His favorite person is Kenley.

Before Comet met Kenley, he lived at an animal shelter.

The shelter was a safe place for Comet.

At the shelter, people cared for him.

But Comet still needed a real home.

He wished for someone to love him.

We are going to be best friends!

One day, Kenley went to the shelter.

She saw many cats.

Then she saw Comet

Kenley stopped to look at him.

Comet looked back at Kenley.

This was the start of a very special friendship.

Kenley wanted to help Comet. She knew that he needed a loving home.

Kenley decided to adopt Comet. He was finally going to have a new home!

Comet would have food, toys, and a safe place to sleep.

Comet was so happy he found a family.
