Tommorow was the end of summer. School was coming up. I hated school so much because my mom has to take my Mantis Gaming Computer 2000 away from me. (It was my own invention, so it was pretty hard to make) And I LOVE gaming. So my mom took it away from me. My mom then said, "Get ready for school tomorrow! Remember, do it for dad!" Then I remembered. "Please don't talk about that." I said. I was disturbed because I remembered about my dad. He died.

                          August 15th, 2015

Today was the day. I packed up, ate breakfast, and went to school. But right as we went there, my mom made a new friend. I'm telling you, she is OBSESSED with people. When she makes a friend, it feels like a million hours. So then after she was done, we were late. I was so frustrated and happy at the same time. So then me and my mom went zooming to school. When I got to school, I was nervous. I hoped everyone was nice. Also, I was going to 6th grade elementary.

And guess what? Someone actually helped me! Her name was Sarah. Sarah Lottser. She showed me which room I should go to, shared with me at lunch, and made me laugh! The first day of school was awesome!

                          August 16th, 2015

It was finally Saturday. Today I got to go to my friend, Jackson's house. So we packed up and went in the Mantis car. But there was SO MUCH traffic, that it took 3 FULL HOURS. And to me, it took like a million days. When I was in the Mantis car, I said, "Hey, mom, can I play on your Mantis phone? Pls?" But then I remembered. She NEVER, EVER lets me play when we are driving. So she replied, "Read a book. It's way more fun than just watching TV all day." So then I was bored.

So when we go there, I was dinging the doorbell so hard it almost broke. Then when I got in, I ran upstairs and went straight to his Mantis computer. I wanted to play some games. But then, Jackson said, "Luke, we can't play games on the computer today. My mom said so." Then I was shocked and pretended I fainted. But he always knows if I am pretending or not. Then he said, "I'm not falling for your tricks again. I know you're alive."

So we had to read books all day. And it sure was BORING. We didn't even get to go outside! I was exhausted! But then, a few hours later, I went to ask his mom if we could play on his Mantis computer. And she said yes. So I was running upstairs so badly, I almost fell.

                          August 17th, 2015

Today was Sunday. It was very, very hot outside. We had to go to church today. But the only problem was that church took FOREVER. Every time I go there it takes about 2 AND A HALF HOURS. It took forever. When I got there, we had to go to Sunday School. It was pretty fun. We got to make Mantis Letters. I got to show it to my mom. She liked it and said, "Wow! Nice Job! How did you make this?" And I told her about it. She was indeed pretty surprised.

                          August 18th, 2015

It was time for another day of school. We packed up and headed to school. Sarah was the first person I saw, waiting for me at the front door to school. So we then went to the classroom. The project was art today. But they don't know I am an artist. We were going to draw a flower. I gave Sarah a few tips. Then she was actually pretty good at drawing! What an improvement! When we gave the tests to the teachers, some of us got an F. But me and Sarah got an A+!

                          August 19th, 2015

Today was a holiday. The holiday was called Mantis Day. It is a holiday where people celebrate and eat some cooked and fried crickets. Those cooked and fried crickets are SO good! It's an EXCELLENT food for mantises! So when I first woke up, I went straight to brushing, and I was ready to eat breakfast. And it was the BEST food I have ever tasted in my life! It was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! So then after breakfast, I went to my Mantis Gaming Computer 2000.

It was pretty nice. I played a game on it called "Escape the Scorpion," which is a game that is really popular. We also have MantisCraft and MantisBlox. It's pretty cool. I was playing on my Mantis Gaming Computer for so long I skipped lunch and it was dinner time. My mom then agreed that I cannot play on my Mantis Gaming Computer 2000 anymore for today. But... it was time to eat some more cooked and fried crickets! It was such a good and crunchy day as I say.

                          August 20th, 2015

It was school again. The same routine, and the same things. BUT... we got a new class pet! It was a caterpillar! He was so cute! The class got to name him and his name was Tom. Also, Sarah was sick today, so she couldn't come to school with us. She missed out a lot.

 So then we went to lunch, and guess what we had! We had some ladybug soup! It was so good! Sarah really, REALLY missed out! After that, we had to do history. It was SO BORING. Now I wish I was Sarah because she missed out on history! History was 1 hour long. In history, we had to learn about Mantis L. HickerMan. He was a person who fought in the Mantis war. It was very boring. We went to carpool, and my mom picked me up late. Also, here's a pic. of Mantis L. HickerMan.

                          August 21st, 2015

Today was Thursday, which we had a day off. I don't know why, I guess another holiday is coming up? Well, who cares. I went to my room and sat down. Then my stomach started to hurt. It was because I was thinking about my dad. About how he died. I just wish he lives safely in mantis heaven. I wish him a good life. You know what, diary? I am going to show a pic. of me, mom, dad, and my little sister. But first...

Also, I don't know if I ever said this, but I heard there is this horsehair worm that can infect mantises and can control us. My dad died on January 3rd, 2013. He died because he was trying to save me from a scorpion. I am so sad. Oh, dad, I love you. Thank you so much. Also, I am the one on the left side, and I am next to the tall one, which is dad. And I am also the one wearing a cap.

                          August 22nd, 2015

Today was Friday. The teacher passed out STACKS of homework. And what I mean by stacks is GIGANTIC STACKS. It was almost as big as my head!

Oh, sorry, diary! I broke my arm because of those STUPID STACKS OF HOMEWORK!!!!! This is why we shouldn't have homework! Well, also, WE WERE GOING TO HAVE SOME KATYDID ICE CREAM FOR LUNCH!!!!!! SO I MISSED OUT!!!!!!!!! I hate it I hate it I HATE IT!!!!! (I wrote this for my son, Luke)

Well, after ragebaiting, I got to my diary. So, let's continue... (I also wrote this for my son, Luke. I don't know why he doesn't like homework)
