INTRODUCTION
I don't expect you to believe that I am a good Minecraft player, like, REALLY good, because I am. And I want to give some, no, LOTS of my experience to newbies starting out in the Overworld. And to everybody that has free time to play the game whenever they want, for hours, congratulations, because you are lucky! I don't have that kind of luggage in my home, but I do have skill. Even though I only play for 3 quarters of an hour (45 Minutes), I have skill to make it enough, so then I end up getting a lot done, even though I play the Lifeboat server about every day...
CHAPTER 1: SPAWN POINT
Once your screen says "Survive" in the Minecraft font, you start your new world. Wherever you spawn is great, but then if you spawn in a place with no trees and just threats, you just might wonder "I'm worried! I need to quit and do a different one, and delete this one!" Don't. You will lose your experience and your hopes for learning something new from that biome. And so let's dive into the very first things you might need for survival. Let's dive right in! So then wherever you spawn, a Taiga, a Plain, a Snowy Biome, or any, like the rare Cherry Valley Trio seed. In Java Edition, (J.E.), the Cherry Valley Trio seed details 3 Villages close together. In Bedrock Edition, the version of Minecraft I play, a big crater is detailed right by your spawn point. A Cherry Valley is also the seed called: Cherry Grove. If you have heard that same name before, you know what I'm talking about. As soon as you find a nearby tree, or trees, as in multiple trees, you punch them down into 16 logs, you can make a stack of 64 Oak Planks, multiplying it, because 16 times 4 equals 64, a full stack of something in Minecraft.

Let your skills at lose! Once you have a wooden pickaxe, you will be able to mine stone! And once you have a fully-furnished bedroom with a bed, a crafting table, and a furnace and a chest full of sticks, you can start a mine that is 4 blocks wide and 3 blocks high! And once you find and mine Iron, (no matter, it takes time!), then bring your giant haul up into your bedroom. You can use some of your maybe leftover planks to woodburn-smelt the Iron you have! You may also use Coal to smelt it and save your leftover planks! But that is a guarantee that you have found and mined Coal, which doesn't need to be smelted, just like Minecraft Charcoal! Then dig deeper until you spy Deepslate! This type of stone is a sign that Redstone, Diamonds, Gold, and a utter pig's ear of Iron! But make sure your armored, because Deepslate is also a sign that a ton of caves now spawn since it's deeper than stone. Gold is something you have to smelt, unlike Diamonds or Redstone or other ores. And did you know Deepslate, like Stone, turns into Cobbled Deepslate when mined, just like stone turns into Cobblestone!
