In a small southern town, there was a tiny
farm. A loving family lived and worked on
this farm, waking up early everyday to keep
their family farm running.

The farmer's daughter, Amber, loved working
hard on the farm to help her family, but she
yearned for something more. She had grown
up in this small town her entire life and she
wanted more than anything to travel to a big
city.

The daughter loved to adventure out into
the forest next to her family's farm. She
loved to take long walks and listen to the
birds sing as they flew from tree to tree.
She realized how much she loved to sing
with them and wished that she could fly
away like the birds.

Day after day, Amber would take a break
from her work and walk under the canopy of
trees. She would sing with the birds,
dreaming of the day she could leave her
small town and go to a big city where her
voice could be heard.

Amber started to do less and less of her
work and her family started to notice. Both
her mother and father realized that she
was getting old enough to make her own
decisions and knew it was time that her
parents let her decide what she should do.

Amber couldn't believe that her parents
were allowing her to pursue her dreams.
She was overjoyed about the idea that she
would finally have the chance to make
something more of herself. She thanked
her parents over and over again.

Thank you!!!

Amber immediately packed her bags and
her parents booked her a plane ticket.
She was so excited she was finally able
to leave her town and go after her dream
of becoming a singer.

After a long plane ride, Amber finally saw
the bright lights of New York City in the
distance. She had never seen so many
lights in her entire life, it was a beautiful
city that came with so many different
sights and sounds. She couldn't wait to
become a part of the city of dreams.
