High above North Rupununi savannahs, there lived a little cloud named Echo.

Below him was Wowetta and the long green savannah.

And Standing tall and far away , was the great Makarapan Mountain.

When other clouds call for Echo to make rain, Echo shake his head and said "I don't want to rain. I want to paint makarapan."

Echo tried to paint with rain. Makarapan was grey.

"I will give you colour", said Mrs Sun.

"fly through my light little one!"

Echo floated towards and into the sunbeam.

He turned pink like the little flowers that grow alongside the mountains.

"I am pink ! I did it!"  he sang.
