Emma was a normal 8 year old girl. She only had 2 friends in school, Lily and Rose. They always sat together at recess and lunchtime. They were inseparable.  They were the best of friends and were very loyal to each other. 

Lily and Rose sometimes thought if they should join the popular girl group. They asked Emma if she wanted to go to the other girl group to see if they wanted to play, but Emma said ''No, I don't like so many people in one group''. She preferred just the 3 of them. However, Lily and Rose were tired of being the laughing stock of the school and wanted to be accepted. 

The next day in school, Rose and Lily decided to go and sit next to the popular girls instead of Emma. Rose and Lily felt a little bad for Emma but also didn't want to be left out in school. But when Emma noticed that her friends were sitting with the other girls, she really felt left out. She was annoyed and really sad. But then, she saw that Rose and Lily were coming towards her, but with a mean look on their faces. Little did Emma know, that in order that Rose and Lily were accepted they had to be mean to Emma and make fun of her. 

''You're so ugly! No wonder you're sitting alone!'' laughed Rose. Lily started laughing meanly with Rose. 

In the school hallway, things became even worse for poor Emma. When Emma was arriving to her lockers, the popular girls got Emma violently and pushed her hard inside her locker. They even locked her up ''No one should see someone so ugly like you! You need to be locked up ugly monster!'' whispered nastily the most popular girl. 

After a few minutes, everyone started making their way to class, but Emma couldn't move. However, there was a young girl, late to class and she was rushing to get her books out. She heard all of sudden big bangs beside her locker. So... she decided to open it and was shocked to what she saw. Emma begged her not to tell anyone, because she didn't want her problems to get worse.
