The Mule Book 1, The Chestnut Book 2, Raven of the Forgotten Skies Book 3.

After the night Cora left, I had a journey; along the journey, I found Cora and Red. Now further from home for the winter. I saw the other birds, ravens sometimes. But I liked being alone; Cora and Red are ones to help. But we ravens don't fly that much together, and Red is a chestnut who can't count. A raven's smart brain is too smart that it doesn't wanna help the non-number counters, but why am I talking about bird school? I've never been taught; I know everything myself, and Red has never been taught, and ravens don't teach because they know.
I may be talking like a smarty-pants, but I think you're here to know ravens are just wise. Are they the ones standing on posts? Why?You'rer not a raven; you'll never know why. humans dont have beaks or feathers, skin is just ugly. im being mean, yes to the humans but my owner..no my sidecick. yeah ravens dont need humans he will be too sad. secret: im not going to come back from the journy! i may never see cora..uhh or red again but i will be free.
Tonight I got a messenger raven. Sadly, my brother had died. He was by my side till I was older; we got separated. I did not get to say goodbye. That night I flew to his death tree and stood there frozen for hours; soon I fell asleep. Usually, ravens never get sad; a loss is hard for ravens becuse they have no one around. And that day I never saw the messenger again, and I got sadder when I remembered the loss of my mother too. I think this is why ravens are always grumpy.
a broken wing, a friend in need.
chapter 1
i saw a cabin, "nice for a roam" i said. i flew into the window and i saw another raven, broken wing? no raven gets a broken wing in my place, and yes also this is like my forest town, i know all the places every corner and every log every tree and mostly that stuff.
It was bigger on the inside, old books on shelves and pieces of glass on the ground. I walk and find a note I can read; as I said, ravens are very smart. It said 'Dear fellow animals, if you can read this is a very inportent message-then right when i was reading it somthing snatched me on the wing, carring me i did not see what it was. It dropped me back in the cabin, and there I had a broken wing too.
Everything was blurry, and I saw the note; I could not read it; it was too far away. I couldn't move a muscle. I gave a pain squawk, and the next day I saw a bunch of ravens. I saw a dark figure, and it said, "This is just the start; wait until tomorrow," the strange figure said, probably the one who snatched me. I was more comfortable moving that day to reach my claw out to the note.
As soon as I got a grip, the dark figure clawed at my neck. "Die," the dark figure said. I struggled to breathe, then the dark figure said, " Die soon, " and flew away. I gasped for air, and I feared that claw would come again. I didn't even look at it; I just closed my eyes and felt the claws that stabbed into my feathers from the strange figure. Blood and pain; I felt like dying, which is what he said.
"You w-w-wont-d-d-di-die," a struggling voice says. "he is too strong; we must obey, "another older raven says. "We ravens are strong! We are smart; wake up your brains!"I shout. Standing in the window, I saw the dark figure. "Don't speak again," he said. With a claw on a raven's neck, he threw him to the ground; I believe this one did not make it.
Fear in all of our eyes, we did not speak again, not even a little breath. When we did not see him, one said, "harpy eagle"; then the now-called harpy eagle bit into his neck. Rips his feathers and spits them out; he sinks his claws and says, "Never speak."Finally,y that day the harpy eagle said, " Roam around; I'm the only one who was the strongest and could roam around. I found something strange; it had ears and had a blanket over it, very furry.
the truth
chapter 2
Human, he was helping us. He was telling us not to speak becuse we'd wake up the human! I should tell them. "Wait," the harpy says. "What?" I reply. "Don't tell them; they will find out when they find out," the harpy answers. "ok?" I said slowly.
"Read the note... but in your mind!" the harpy adds. It said, 'Dear fellow animals, if you can read, please answer it! Emergency: a big wildfire is spreading across the lands, and it will hit here! After the trees and bushes are all burnt, the workers will send them down! Send them down, like cut them! No more trees! Workers, if you find this, please leave it and let the animals know so they can be safe. Love, Ruby.
"Spread the news," the harpy says next. "And come back to me with a clawed mouse, and that will be my food,d" he adds. Why don't harpies hunt?" I ask. "We hunt, but not me; danger out there," he replies. What danger? It lingered in my mind, and danger is coming means leave the area. so i saw the danger hummans, from the note going to tree to tree that was burnt, and i saw the wildfire behind me, spreading across the lands.
