High up in the night sky lived a little star named Twinkle. She loved watching the other stars sparkle, but she was afraid to shine. She thought her light was too small.

Every night, Twinkle hid behind a fluffy cloud.

“I wish I could shine like the other stars,” she whispered sadly.

“I wish I could shine like the other stars"

One night, the friendly moon noticed Twinkle hiding. “Why aren't you shining, little star?” he asked.

“My light isn't as bright as everyone else's,” Twinkle replied.

Twinkle took a deep breath and began to glow. At first, her light was tiny. Then it grew brighter and brighter until she sparkled in the sky!

Down below, a little girl named Lily was looking out her bedroom window. She spotted Twinkle and gasped.

“Look at that beautiful star!” Lily said with a big smile.

Twinkle felt happier than ever. She had never realized that even her little light could make someone smile. She danced and sparkled beside the other stars all night long.

And every night, Twinkle shined her very own light across the sky.
