Milo the mouse woke up one day,

And found that his cheese had gone away!

He looked to the left, he looked to the right,

But his yummy cheese was nowhere in sight.

He searched his bed and under his chair,

He looked in his closet, but nothing was there.

"Where is my cheese?" he cried with a squeak,

"I've been looking for it all week!"

He asked his friend, a little brown bear,

"Have you seen my cheese anywhere?"

The bear shook his head and said,

"Not me! Maybe it's hiding behind that tree!"

He ran to the tree and looked all around,

But not a single crumb could be found.

He checked by the flowers, he checked by a log,

Then stopped to say hello to a frog.
