My name is Isabelle and today is my first day of school, I am a little nervous! I am afraid of what the other kids might think of me, or what they might say. Will I seem normal, or will they think I am different? My mom says being different isn't a bad thing. Will they think that the same, or will they think I am lame?

I walk through the hallway, trying to be brave and strong. It seems so strange, That's when I realize, I am walking through a jungle and I am the only human in sight. Am I really that different? I look all around hoping to see someone like me and that's when I see it! Someone even more different than me! 

Hi! My name is Leo the turtle, what is your name? My name is Isabelle, I say. What are you doing here in this jungle, aren't you a sea turtle?, Isabelle says. Why yes I am, says Leo. I have wanted to be a part of a jungle school my whole life and my mom says even if I am different there is no reason I can't chase my dream! Wow, Leo you are so brave, do you think we could be friends, asks Isabelle. Of course we can, says Leo. So Leo and Isabelle set off through the jungle school hallway together. 

As Isabelle and Leo stand in the hallway talking about all the ways that they feel different, the rest of the kids show up to school! Just as they expected they are the only kids that look differently. What do you think they will say about us, says Isabelle. What does it matter what they think, let's go meet them, says Leo.

Hi my name is Samuel and it is so nice to meet you, says the lion. We are all so excited to meet you, when we heard we would be going to school with a human and a sea turtle we thought it was the most exciting news ever! I hope that we can all be friends, even if we are a little different, says Samuel the lion.
