Once upon a time, there was a little seed named Sammy. Sammy was smaller than all the other seeds in the garden. He dreamed of growing into a beautiful, tall plant, but he was not sure he could do it.
One sunny morning, a little girl named Lily planted Sammy in her garden. She gently covered him with soft, warm soil and gave him a little water. Sammy was excited about his new home.

Days went by, but Sammy did not see anything happening. He could hear the other plants talking about how quickly they were growing. Sammy started to feel like he would never become a real plant.

One day, a friendly worm named Walter wiggled through the soil. He noticed Sammy feeling sad. "Why are you so quiet?" Walter asked. Sammy explained that he was worried he would never grow.

Walter smiled and said, "Every plant grows at its own pace. You just need sunlight, water, and patience." Sammy felt a little better. Maybe he just needed to give himself more time.

That evening, dark clouds filled the sky. Soon, rain began falling over the garden. The water soaked into the soil and reached Sammy. He could feel himself getting stronger.

The next morning, Sammy felt something exciting happening. He pushed a tiny green sprout through the soil. The sunlight warmed his new leaves. Sammy was finally beginning to grow!

As Sammy grew, he met the other plants in the garden. There were bright yellow flowers, tall green vegetables, and a beautiful sunflower. Everyone welcomed Sammy and made him feel special.

A few days later, the weather became very hot. The sun shined brightly, and the garden soil started drying out. Sammy's little leaves began to droop. He was worried something was wrong.

Lily came outside to check on her garden. She noticed Sammy looked thirsty, so she grabbed her watering can. She carefully watered the soil around him. Sammy was thankful for her help.

After getting water and sunlight, Sammy's leaves began standing tall again. He realized that plants need different things to stay healthy. Water, sunlight, air, and healthy soil all helped him grow.

Weeks passed, and Sammy grew taller every day. One morning, he noticed a tiny yellow flower beginning to open at the top of his stem. He could hardly believe his eyes!
