"I'm so ready for prom!" Sarah said immediately when
she saw Ava leaning on her locker with a shock look in
her face.
"Hey, no need to be surprised. I mean, I know that the
time went by pretty fast, but you shouldn't be that
shocked that prom is this weekend I mean you've been
planning this for a while." Sarah said while jumping up
and down in simulation.
"No, I'm not worried about that," Ava responded, "It's
just..." The bell rang, interrupting her from her
explanation.
"Well, got to go, bye!" Sarah said, waving goodbye.

School has ended, and Ava found
herself walking alone back to her house.
She kept thinking about what she had
seen in the posters and what that
means. She couldn't believe it! It just
wasn't possible. She was so focused on
incubating the dance, that she forgot
entirely about running for Prom Queen.
Yet, someone thought about that for
her, and made posters. Who could it be?
thought Ava as she was walking home.

The next day at school, Ava found herself
still in shock when looking at the posters.
Yesterday she hadn't noticed that she wasn't
the only one in the poster to be nominated,
but also her best friend of all time, Jake.
Seconds before she noticed it, she heard
someone clear his throat and turn around to
see Jake looking at her with a shock look on
his face.
That's when they both realized that neither
one of them have planned this, and that it
was in fact someone else entirely who made
these posters.

After school, Ava and Jake were walking
back home together, thinking to
themselves about the mystery posters.
Ava was so lost in her thoughts that she
didn't notice that she was careening to her
right, and by the time she realized she
stumbled, almost falling to the ground if it
wasn't for Jake grabbing her hand in time.
Ava soon found her balanced and thanked
Jake, making him blush, which was
unusual since he never blushed but Ava
brushed it off.
