On a hot summer day, four friends went for a 

walk on the forest trail.   " No, i think it's that 

way,'' Mia said. Mia always thought that she 

was right.   " I think that we should just go 

straight," yells Anna.   '' Ok" Brooke says, " 

How about we split into two groups?"   " That's 

a great idea Chloe says. Chloe always agrees 

with Brooke because they were best friends.  

So they did, they broke into two groups. Mia 

and Brooke stayed on the path.   Chloe and 

Anna decided that they would cut through the 

trees. 

  As Brooke and Mia stayed on the path, Anna 

and Chloe thought that if you go through the 

pine trees, it would take you directly to the 

park.   Soon, Anna and Chloe got lost.   They 

were trying to find their way out of the trees.  

Chloe was scared and Anna was trying to calm 

her down.

Then, they heard talking and horses!   They 

both looked at each other.   They started 

walking toward the voices and shouted, "Who 

is there?"   They went through the bushes and 

there, they found a barn.   It wasn't any barn, 

it was pink and had sparkles hanging above it.  

Anna thought she was dreaming, but she 

wasn't.

 Out of the barn came a unicorn, and Anna 

nearly passed out!   The unicorn said, "Hi, my 

nae is Happy the Unicorn.   What are you 

doing in the middle of the forest?"   "We are 

lost,"   Anna cried, "We need help finding our 

way home."   When Happy was just about to 

speak, another unicorn came out of the barn.  

His name was Sparky.   Sparky came out to 

see who Happy was talking to.

Anna told Sparky what had happened and 

Sparky also agreed to help.   Sparky was a nice 

and funny unicorn.   Happy invited the girls into 

the big sparkly barn.   They were amazed at how 

big the barn was and the barn had a snack bar, 

rooms and it even included a game room.   It was 

huge!

     All of the unicorns were staring.   Sparky 

talked to the other unicorns.   Happy told Anna 

to get on his back so she did.   Sparky told Chloe 

to get on his back, too.   She was scared, but she 

did.   Two other unicorns followed Happy and 

Sparky.   The unicorns went faster and faster, 

and Chloe and Anna had to hold on tight so they 

wouldn't fall off.
