Hi,my name is Mia.I am nine 

years old,

and I go to Churchroad 

elementary school.I don't like 

school that much because these 

girls that go to my school 

bully me and they call me ugly 

and not smart.Now I believe 

them,I have no friends and I am 

alone!This is my story..

One day,My daddy took me to the 

doctors because I have been 

feeling sick lately.Dr.Cub told me 

that I had stage 4 colon cancer.He 

told me I would have to shave my 

hair off and get a needle put in 

me and the worst of it is to carry 

around a pump.I'm really gonna get 

made fun of now!

Tuesday,Sky was waiting for 

me outside near the 

playground.This is my last 

day with hair so i'm pretty 

sure she is gonna make fun of 

me even more than before.Sky 

is the girl that is very 

popular and is very pretty.

There was   a new girl in school today and it was so 

weird because we became like the best of friends

as soon as we met and later it's gonna be even 

better because she is going with me and mommy 

later to get my hair cut.She feels bad for me having 

cancer.

Me,mommy and Alyssa went to the barber 

shop later that night.Alyssa was sitting next 

to 

me in the chair and she asked me a 

question.

"Mia,do you actually have any wishes?"she 

asked."I actually have three wishes."I 

replied."I wanna be beautiful is my first,then 

I would wanna be strong fighting this 

cancer,

and lastly I would want to stop getting 

bullied."I added."Trust me Mia,We're gonna 

get through this together."Alyssa said.

"Eww,look at the bruised bald 

barbie!"said Sky."You need to stop 

Sky,you don't know that much about her 

to even say something about her."said 

Alyssa.As soon as I walked into the 

classroom,the last thing I wanted to 

hear was "All I know is that she looks 

like a cancer patient!"Sky replied.After I 

heard that,I ran out of the classroom as 

fast as I could while crying and trying to 

wipe my tears.
