 A place in time where everyone worked together to make the darkness go 

away, a place where peace was made, a place called Kazuko village, 

(meaning peace and harmony).   Its a place where they thought that kids 

could grow up safely, it was located at the base of a mountain where it was 

easily protected.

Asami Yoko, gave everything she had to protect the ones she loved, but 

she lost everything in an instant. On the devastating day, it was like a 

perfect nightmare for her, at the age of 17 the darkness came and it came 

even stronger than ever. Fire came rushing down from the sky, when the 

village was under attack. A woman in black drove through the village and 

demolished everything, taking a black and white crystal along with her. 

Nothing was left but one 17 year old girl ,who fled the village before 

darkness came and never to return to that horrible place again. To stop this 

destruction from happening again to the whole world, she would need to 

travel across the dark country and get the black and white crystal that 

keeps everything in balance.

    Journal entry 1:

I can’t believe a few days has passed since 

the destruction and devastation, I’ll be at 

the border of our homeland, it's been harsh. 

I had to keep a look out twenty four, seven. 

I haven't gotten much sleep, maybe a few 

hours worth been spending most of my time 

training so I can take back the white crystal 

and save my home. I haven’t seen any 

survivors besides myself.

Asami Yoko.

It has just been getting cloudy as I packed 

up my stuff and started walking with my 

katana on my side and a sniper rifle on my 

back. 

    “It’s getting dark… Great.” I smiled as I 

heard something off to the east of me.

    “Interesting..” I smirked then whispered 

to myself as I set up my scope to the sniper 

rifle to see what it was.

 I leaned down to look through the scope 

and an arrow shot passed me by 1 inch 

away from my face. After that happened a 

polar bear dog jumped on me pinning me 

down and it started growling and showing 

its teeth. A woman about the age of 

nineteen who looked twelve, she had long 

black hair and green eyes jumped down 

from a tree and landed next to me and 

she spoke,

    “What do we have here Lace? A little 

girl?” She walked around me and kneeled 

down.

    “Little girl huh? Alright… “ I snapped and 

threw the polar bear dog onto the woman 

in black and jumped up and drew my 

katana. The woman got up instantly and 

drew a short blade and held it close to 

her, I stared at her, waiting for to make 

her move. With her polar bear dog Lace 

was growling at me I took extra 

precautions.

“What are you doing here little girl, it’s dark, shouldn't you be home?” She talked normally in a 

calm tone.

“Ha.. Give me a break I wouldn't go their shorty, what are you twelve?” I sheathed my sword, 

grabbed my stuff, and stood normally then started to walk off.

    “I don’t need you to tell me what to do, so get off my back.” I shouted and waved behind me, 

see you later. A few seconds later another arrow was shot an inch next to my head I kept walking 

and as I did I heard her speak a little bit madly.

    “Really, short? That’s all? I mean I’m seventeen, thank you for asking. So don’t talk to me like 

that.”

    “I can talk how ever I want to, so what does it matter, it's not like I know you. Or better yet” I 

stopped and turned around then continued. 

    “I’m sorry your highness.” I smirked and said sarcastically. “Anyway I have places to go and 

people to kill… Have a nice night” I turned back around, walking faster. The black haired woman got 

on her polar bear dog and it ran up to me and she spoke angrily.

    “I have a name you know..It’s Lux.” She looked at me.

    “And? I care why.?” I looked at her and spoke again.

    “I don’t need to know anyone’s name.. I have a place to go.” Lux calmed down and asked 

curiously,

    “ And what might that be?”

    “Does it matter to you?” I replied and put my hood on as I pulled Lux and Lace behind some 

bushes and trees.“Someone’s coming..” I whispered and drew my katana, Lux pointed to the sky.

    “The darkness..” I began to get angry while I waited to see who was coming; down the road a 

black vehicle was driving towards us, there was five men in the car. I then put my scope on my 

shoulder and looked through it.

“Someone’s coming..” I whispered and drew my katana, Lux pointed to the sky.

    “The darkness..” I began to get angry while I waited to see who was coming; 

down the road a black vehicle was driving towards us, there was five men in the car. 

I then put my scope on my shoulder and looked through it.

    “Let’s see.. three rifles, two katana’s, six dueling swords, and one, two, three, 

four, five; grenades, and most importantly; a car.” I smiled as I put the scope down 

and took ahold of my katana. 

    “This is going to be fun.. I’ll be back in a minute..” I smirked and ran through 

some bushes towards the vehicle so they wouldn’t see me. Then I ambushed them, 

raging on and on and lashing out at them, killing them all one by one. As soon as 

they surrounded me arrows began to be shot at them as I deflected the bullets 

from their guns and swords. With the help of Lux and Lace we killed them off taking 

their guns and and ammo along with the vehicle. I drove back to the place we were 

both at before and grabbed my gear and put it in the car. As i did Lux and Lace got 

into the vehicle and smiled and said.

    “Well I can’t let you be all alone out here now can I, I will join you.” So I replied 

with a slight smile and some curiosity.

    “Well I guess if you would like? It's going to be a long journey for me anyway.."

One night it was about 12:00 a.m, the darkness was overwhelming so I 

decided to keep the first watch. it was windy and cold, we were in the 

middle of nowhere. As the wind blew harder and harder a storm was 

raging in; trees began to move side to side some branches even 

breaking. As I kept watch I herd whispers, saying,

   "Come closer..."

       Journal Entry 2:     

We traveled for miles and days on end, sometimes 

stopping at places for training and sparring. While 

at other times we stopped at restaurants eating 

and getting to know each other more, we started 

to become best friends. At some points we had to 

kill off the people in black that were following us 

as the darkness spread. When it became dark we 

stopped and rested one at a time, camping out in 

the vehicle, keeping watch so nothing happens. 

Asami Yoko.

I used my scope on my rifle to see what it was, but there was 

nothing their. The voice came back every few seconds. I finally 

got up and grabbed my katana along with my sniper rifle and 

making sure that Lace was watching over Lux. I went down the 

path a little bit looking through my scope and I saw a little girl

  "The whispers are from her?" I asked myself.

  "Come closer....I need help.. please...come closer." The little 

girl's whispers echoed through the forest, then she 

disappeared. I put my scope down for a few seconds, then 

looked back through it and the little girl was right in front of 

me. I jumped backwards and shot at her but it right through 

her, like she was a ghost. The little girl started running towards 

me and before i knew it the girl turned into a monster and 

screeched at me. By that time Lux woke up hearing me 

scream. Lux then   grabbed her stuff and rushed towards my 

screaming and made the ghost monster go away by some sort 

of gas.
