A is for accident Willows parents got into a car accident and
died from the tragedy. This is what changed
Willows life in an instant.



B is for busWillow rode the bus most of the days to get
across town, back to the salon.

C is for Chedder Chedder was Dell Dukes cat. Willow made a
close connection with Chedder.

D is for Dell DukeDell Duke was Willows counselor but then
helped her out by having her stay in his
apartment after her parents passes away.



E is for excitement There was a lot of excitement in this book.
One part was when Willow was given the
sunflower seeds. This was a big moment to
her because it brought up memories of her
parents.

F is for Friends Willow made several Friends during the time
after her parents died. These Friends
supported her and made her a better person.



G is for garden The garden in the book showed Willows
personality. you could tell that She was very
excited for all the plants to grow.


H is for Health Health was a big part of willows life. She lost
her Grandmother from a health problem.

I is for ice cream Before Willow found out her parents have
died, Dell, Mai, and Quang-ha all went to go
get ice cream.



J is for Jairo Jario is the taxi driver that is freinds with
Willow. He drives her around places and takes
care of her.

K is for keepWillow kept many things. One thing she
kept was an acorn that Mai gave her for
luck. This helped her at the end by
planting.

L is for listeningDell Duke, Willows concaler, listens to what
Willow has to say. This helps Willow be more
open and be herself more.




M is for mother Although her mother wasn't in the book that
much, she was an important part of Willows
past.

N is for nurse When Willow hit her head she was brought to
the hospital and a nurse helped her before she
ran away.

O is for orphan Willow was a orphan and went to a foster
center were many orphan go.

P is for plants Plants are something that is really important
to Willow. She loves them. You could tell this
by when Dell Duke gave her the sunflower
seeds to grow.
