A long, long time ago, but not too long ago, in
a small town where the weather is
unpredictable and the people never change
faces; there lived a princess. The princess
was a beautiful, young, innocent girl. She
spent most of her time all alone in the palace
and her parents the king and the queen
bought her everything she could ever want to
keep her busy and they hoped she would
never leave the palace. With all of the fun
things to keep herself busy she became
bored.

She asked her father to come outside to play
with her. His reply was always the same,” not
now sweetie, you know daddy is far too busy
for childish games.” Sad because she couldn't’t
even remember the last time her father spent
quality time with her and he wasn't about to
begin either.

So finally she decided she would go to her
mother, the woman who had given her birth,
the woman who made her who she is today,
the woman who for sure would not let her
down. “Amaa! Where are you amaa?” The
princess wandered the palace looking for her
mother screaming about trying desperately to
make sure she is heard. “Amaa!” the princess
yelled once more.

“Why on earth are you screaming child?” said
the Queen who was laying down resting her
legs lazily. “Amaa are you sleeping? Can we go
for a walk together just to talk?” asked the
princess. “Oh, not now I’m too tired to go for a
walk, if you want someone to talk to go
outside and talk to the maid. She always
listens.” The Queen said now dosing off slowly.

Completely heartbroken the princess decided
to run away thinking her parents wouldn't miss
her anyways because all she does is spend
their money.

The princess packed some of her belongings,
prepared herself for what may lay ahead of her
and began her journey outside of the palace
walls. She ran as far away as she could before
she fell upon a castle full of signs. Standing
outside of this magnificent palace stood a
sorceress. The sorceress was a tall beautiful
woman with hair flowing down her body. She
walked to the now exhausted princess and
noticed she had been crying.

She looked down at the princess and smiled
and said,” Hello there, Dear child what on
earth have you been through? You like you
were sucked into a tornado and he spit you out
here.” The princess began sobbing
uncontrollably and kept telling the sorceress it
didn’t matter what she went through, as long
as she forgets and never returns. The
sorceress looked at the princess grinning and
asked her,” Are you sure you want to forget
about everything?”

The princess shook her head while wiping the
tears from her face, “Well yes I want to forget
everything, I think.” Within an instant the
sorceress whipped out a magic potion and
gave it to the princess who in turn drank the
potion without question.
