in environments completely and
totally new and amazing to them.
Lets follow them through their
journey.

Dorthy's Adventures
Through The Alphabet on
Her Journey To Get Back
Home.

Hi I'm Dorthy, Join me on my journey to
collect all the alphabet letters I need to find
in order for me to be able to return home to
Kansas.

My journey began at home back at the farm
in Kansas. The weather abruptly changed. It
was as if the cumulus clouds went from
providing a gentle calm wind to developing a
drizzle of rainfall. Aunt May scurried around
the farm stressed. She stated with friction in
her voice, "Dorthy quick, I think there is a cold
front a comin!"
Before I had a chance to react, I and my
little dog,ToTo, were whisked up into the center
of a cyclone (twister). It was rotating
turbulently that I couldn't see past the thick
debris.

My head felt like an anvil had hit me. I lost
conscientiousness. I awoke to the sound of Toto's
barking. I found myself confined to a small space.
I could barely move. I had a small abrasion on my
head, but nothing to lose my composure.
Ultimately I was able to wiggle myself through
a visible crevasse.Upon scoping out my
surrounding location, it became apparent to
me, Toto and I had been displaced.
Our house had landed on the edge of a grassy
range.

The climate felt like there was a lot of
moisture in the air. The humidity was almost
overwhelming. Dew glazed off the grass blades. In
the distance I could see a beautiful green valley
splitting the mountains. A water stream drained
into a delta at the base of the valley.
In the distance, I saw a character advancing
toward me.

The character turned out to be a gnome. He
provided me with information on how I would be
able to find help on getting me home.
He informed me that I was to seek the Ice
Queen of the North, and that I would cross
extreme terrains on my journey getting to her.

The Queen likesletter gifts.

Zipping along, I began my journey. I stayed on tract as
not to waste time.
Yearning to be home already , I skipped with
eXcitement and with a
Whistle to my rapid pace, with
Velocity and undeniably determined to advance over the
horizon.

I walked with intense focus, that I almost
didn't take notice of the dense forrest I had
wandered into. There was an array of trees and
animals in the area. My heart rate accelerated
Upon hearing the volume of the piercing sounds.
The plants and animals seemed to thrive in this
environment, they were so active and abundant
in variation. The temperature was very mild.
I started to miss home again.
Observing all the
consolidation and unity
among all the organisms
caused me to release
a flood of tears.

I started wondering if I was near the equator.
Which part of the hemisphere of the globe was
I? This place felt nothing like Kansas. The
Tropical atmospheric weather definitely did
not match that of the Kansas arid
climate.
Temporarily, I felt at ease, almost
invisible to the interactions of the
inhabitants that lived here.
It was time for me to continue my journey.

Imagine my reaction when I walked up to a natural
spring in the middle of a desert.
A Scarecrow jumped out from a brittle and prickly
situation.

He was positively eccentric and possessed an
energy that is hard to describe.
Right away we hit it off. We sat near a boulder
with a mesa to interact and exchange stories. We
reflected on how we both got here and structured
a plan on how we could journey together. We were
there for a long duration.
During drought seasondesert animals often
gather near natural
springs(oasis).

Scarecrow decided it was to his interest to
accompany me on my Quest. We hiked upward
toward a high butte that we felt the change in
altitude right away. My exhaustion was
amplified for the lack of oxygen. We saw a
cavern and chose to recharge ourselves inside.
