There once was a little girl named Lucy who 

received a laptop for her birthday.. Her mother 

told her certain rules about the laptop , but 

Lucy was still not understanding. Carl saw lucy 

at the park , and was wondering why she 

looked so sad. Lucy proceeded to ask him 

questions about internet safety. 

Carl explained to Lucy that internet 

safety , is the knowledge of using 

personal safety and security risks to 

private information and property using 

the internet , and self protection from 

computer crime in general.Once Carl 

started explaining the rules of 

internet/online safety to Lucy she 

started understanding more and more. 

After a while,Lucy still had a few 

questions left.

Carl started getting into more detail 

about online safety." Online/Internet 

Safety can keep you away from scams, 

Cyber bullying,and online predetors . 

All of these things can harm you and 

even your family. It might be a good 

idea to keep a password on every 

website you use to be secure.", Carl 

explained. Lucy finally understood the 

meaning of online safety. 

Lucy went home and gave her mom a huge hug. 

Since Lucy finally understands the meaning of 

online/internet safety, she explains the rules to all of 

her friends. Lucy and her mom lived happily ever 

after.
