Wee hee! A 7 year old girl named Jane Burrow
went on a trip with her family to New Mexico. It
was Jane's first time flying on a plane and she
was extremely exited. Her mother, Kelly, said it
would take about 3 hours from Denver,
Colorado.

At about hour 2 Jane had to go to the
bathroom. She walked up into the reeking
bathroom and went . What she didn't know
was that this was the pilot bathroom, and
that there was an emergency door that was
identical to the regular door.

Jane didn't know which door she went
through on the way so she guessed on which
door would lead her out of the bathroom and
back towards her family. She guessed that
the door on the right was the right door that
would lead her back out inside the plane. She
crossed her fingers, hoping it would be the
right door.

Unfortunately, Jane chose the wrong door,
and got stuck outside of the plane. She tried
to hold her balance but the wind blew her
away and off the wing of the plane.

She fell down.... far, far, far down. She closed
her eyes afraid it was going to be the end. It
took about 30 seconds for her to fall from the
plane that was high up. Finally, she hit the
water and thankfully didn't die.

Jane, landed and hurt her back badly, she
started bleeding and had trouble swimming to
the surface. Jane held her breath and
managed to swim to the surface. She was wet
and cold when she got to the surface. She
knew she would have to swim a long way to
get to land and maybe, just maybe, back to
her family.

Jane was disappointed that she had to swim
to land, but she was going to try her best.
She swam, and swam until she saw land wear
she could rest. It was really hot, so by the
time she got to land, she was exhausted.

When Jane finally reached land, she looked
around to see if there was any people. There
wasn't. Jane got scared and cried and cried
for her family. She cried for hours. When she
finally finished crying, she went to look for
some food because she was hungry. She
finally found some berries and ate them, the
berries were sour but had just the right touch
so that they would fill her stomach.

It was getting, dark, so Jane went to find
some shelter. She searched, and searched but
could not find anything. She finally came
apon an old tree house in the woods. She
went in to see if there was anybody there.
Lucky for her, there was. It was a teenage
girl. The teenage girl let her in to have some
food and water.

Jane went in and admired the little tree house
which made her think about her house. She
cried to the teenage her and said, " I want
my mommy." The teenage girl said " It's OK,
you'll survive if your with me. Besides, I have
an iPhone. My name's Renata. You can stay
with me until we find out where your parents
are. Do you know your parents phone
number?" " Yes, but I don't remember the
whole thing". Renata pulled out her phone
and they started investigating so that Janie
could find her parents. As they were doing
this Jane enjoyed and apple and some water
the teenage girl gave her.

"Here, type in you number". Jane typed in
303-679-8956 but nobody answered. Jane
started crying again. She told Renata that she
didn't think that that was the right number. "
We'll find your parents don't worry. For now,
you need to get some rest. Renata took Jane
to a small room in the tree house. It had a
bed, a lamp and desk, and some old
magazines from like the 1800's.

As Jane fell asleep she tried to remember her
mothers and fathers phone number. Renata
gave Jane a gown to sleep in for the night
and Jane slept peacefully. It was only until
morning that her her mothers and fathers
phone number was a mystery.

Renata was still asleep when Jane woke up.
Jane woke up still thinking about her parents
numbers. She woke up hungry because she
didn't eat much the other day. She walked
plumply towards the refrigerate to look for
some food when Renata woke up. " Up
already, Renata said. " Yes." said Janie. " I
washed your cloths. Your might want to go see
if they're dry. There outside on the cloths line
next to the river." " OK." said Jane. " Oh, And
I never got your name." said Renata. " It's
Jane Burrow." Jane told her. " Pretty name."
said Renata. " Thank you." Jane said back.

Jane put on her cloths after she found the
cloths line. She was scared at first because
she didn't know if anyone was looking, but
she remembered it was an island and no one
would be watching her. Jane's hands were
freezing so she put she hands in her pocket.
She felt a piece of paper in her pocket so she
took it out and she couldn't believe what she
found.
