Hello!

Welcome to chat room 9!

Meagan: Hello!

Phil: Hello! 

Meagan: My name is Meagan. What’s your name?

Phil: Nice to meet you Meagan! My name is Phil.

Meagan: Do you go to school?

Phil: No.

Meagan: So, you finished college.

Phil: Sort of.

Meagan: What do you mean “sort of”?

Phil: ….. What’s your favorite color?

Meagan: Mint green! What’s your’s?

Phil: Orange.

Meagan: Cool!

Phil: Do you go to school?

Meagan: Yes!

Phil: Which one?

Meagan: The Special Art’s High School.

Phil: I live near there!

Meagan: What’s your Favorite food?

Phil: Sushi. Your’s? 

Meagan: Sushi! 

Meagan: Weird, right?

Phil: Yeah!

Meagan: Do you like candy?

Phil: OF COURSE!!!!

Meagan: What kind? 

Phil: Swedish Fish.

Phil: What’s your favorite candy?

Meagan: KitKats.

A few chat days later…….

Meagan: That was a funny joke! 

Phil: Yep! I’m an expert at jokes!

Meagan: No kidding!!

Phil: ………… I have another thing I need to tell you……….

The Cat

Meagan: This is another joke, right?!

Phil: Nope. I am a real cat. 

Meagan: ……………

Meagan: Let me guess…… an orange tabby cat.

Phil: Yep! That’s me!

Meagan: But….How…. What?.....

Phil: I can talk, type, read, and write.

Brandi: Hello! I’m new here! My name is Brandi!

Meagan: Hello Brandi! I’m Meagan!

Phil: Hi Brandi! My name is Phil!

Meagan: Just tell her Phil!

Brandi: Tell me what?

Phil: Brandi, I am a cat!

Brandi: This has to be a joke.

Meagan: Nope! I just found out myself! He is an orange tabby cat. His favorite color: 

orange. His favorite food: (and mine too!) sushi. His favorite candy: Swedish Fish. My 

favorite color: Mint green, my favorite candy: Kit Kats, and our favorite show: 

Mythbusters. Also, I go to the Special Arts School.

Brandi: So do I!

Meagan: Weird! I might have a class with you!

Brandi: What grade are you in?

Meagan: 12th

Brandi: Oh. I’m in 9th.

Phil: How sad.

Meagan: So, when do we get to meet you, oh great Phil?

Brandi: Yeah! When do we get to meet you, Phil?

Phil: I don’t know. I’d prefer if we kept this secret, though. 

Meagan: Sure! No problem!

Brandi: Okay!

Phil: The question is how………

Meagan: We can meet at my place! I live alone, and I bought the house myself! What 

about you Brandi? Would your parents be okay with it? (don’t tell them about Phil 

though)

Brandi: …… Um….. 

Phil: What’s wrong Brandi?

Meagan: Did I say something wrong?

Brandi: No! It’s not you, it’s just……. I don’t have any parents…..

Meagan: I’m so sorry! ……. I didn’t know…..

Phil: Not to be rude or anything, but how do you go to school, then?

Brandi: All the charities pay for my schooling, and they even payed for my laptop.

Meagan: So……… do you, um…….

Brandi: Live in a shelter? Yes. It’s okay!
