On a cold winter day, sadness was born into the sea... sadness 

was a kind fellow but she always had this miserable attitude 

like she had lost fellow friends. Why was sadness born into the 

ocean? It was so hope wasn't wiped out. One day while 

sadness was paddling along, sad as ever. She saw sea demons 

on a boat up above.

She thought now I am going to mess up in front of 

barbarians...But she swam to meet them. "Hello and welcome 

to the sadness domain, home of... me." sadness called out. 

"WHO ARE YOU? HAVE YOU COME TO ATTACK US!!!" The blue 

demon yelled."No, I come in peace." sad replied. "peace!" red 

spat, "always interfering." sad gasped, "Wait, have you come 

to attack the sacred city of hope!" "let me think, yes! Now 

leave before we pummel you to the void." purple retorted. 

It took all of sadness's will not to swim away. "No, the only one 

visiting the void today is you. Sorry." So sadness with all her 

grief tore her way into the demon's mind, ripping out thoughts 

that could drive them mad from grief. she tortured purple with 

the thought of his mother being impaled by a blade, his family 

destroyed, out of agony purple knocked himself out and he fell 

off the ship. She made blue remember the time a solider had 

stabbed him in the arm, he screamed so loud Red beat him 

with his daggers. With one last puff sadness ripped apart the 

boat, Red flew into the sky and blue sunk into darkness, Red 

never returned. "No one will harm my sister's domain! Hope 

will survive!" Sadness yelled at the sky. Then, she slowly sunk 

into the depths of the ocean where sadness slept.

The next day, sadness woke up with the most unusual feeling. 

She felt... happy. She screamed with delight. Suddenly she 

noticed her surroundings, she was in a wood hut with a lot of 

candy. Then her sister arrived, hope. Sadness hugged her, 

"Sis! It is so good to see you!" Hope told sadness how some 

fish had seen the fight between her and the demons, "They 

said you were a Hero!" Hope declared, "You will live with me 

for the rest of your life sadness or not. Sadness lived sadly, 

ever after...
