The town of Nami was once a
beautiful trading port, with
gardens, rivers, and a lovely
bay with plenty of fish. People
all over Greece came to see
the magnificent city.

But then one day
when Athens
became the Capitol
of the empire, and
was even grander
than Nami...

People stopped going to Nami,
which meant less drachmas, which
meant the Greek Empire had to
shut them down. The townspeople
ran out of water, and their crops
started to die. Even the fish left the
bay. Nami was headed into a
famine.

Sue was only a young
girl when the Great
Nami Famine started,
and hardly remembers
the golden days of
Nami. She wore a blue
robe and had long,
brown hair. Sue lived
with her Granddad in a
small hut, since her
Mother had died years
ago from dehydration.
Sue had never met her
father, but her
Granddad said it was
best if she didn't know.

Too many
people were
starving and
dehydrating.
Sue had
always had
an Idea to
save the
town, but
the
townsfolk
shot it down.

One day when
Sue was
attempting to
fish, town
messenger
Haldaen
rushed to the
girl and stated
" Your
Grandfather
would like to
see you"

"Oh Boy" Sue mumbled "What is it this time" Stomping
on the squishy sand of the seashore, Sue approached
her Grandfathers house and marched in and screamed "
What now, Pop?!?!" "Whoa there, sweetheart, whats
the matter" the old man said. "Whats th- ughhh, never
mind" Sue moaned " Why'd you call me here, anyway?"
" I have a plan!" He stated. "It will save Nami!"
"Another one?" Sue said. "Remember what happened to
the last 17 ones?" " Yes, yes, far too well... but this
ones full proof!" "But Granddad, i have a plan too!" "
Calm down Sue, this plan will work. It involves you" "
But! Fine. What do i do, anyway?" " Convince Poseidon
to give us water" " WHAT!?!? That's crazy! He would
never agree, and that's a mans job, not a girls" " Oh,
but young Sue, I have something to tell you. Poseidon
is your Father"

Angered and
astonished at
the same time,
Sue headed
off. Sue stood
atop of the
town hill and
took one last
glimpse of the
once beautiful
town of Nami,
and headed off
on her
journey.

Once Sue made it to the shore, she instantly though
"Great, now how am I gonna get out there into the
sea?" "I know how" a mysterious voice from the
shadows said. " I sell floating, wooden boards for 150
Drachmas. Paddle on em for a while, and you'll get
out there in no time" Sue wasn't sure about this. The
man had a long neck, long legs, a long body, and was
yellow with brown spots, and carved into all his
boards said " Girf Co." " Wood Board trafficking is
illegal in this part of Greece, but they are pretty
useful." Sue had no other choice but to buy the
board, and started to paddle out to sea. At the last
second, the giraffe man yelled " whatever you do,
don't sta-" The voice faded away into the sea.

Sue paddled and paddled and
paddled until the shore was like
an ant from a mile away. But
suddenly, Sue saw a dark, giant
cloud ahead, and decided it was
no hope and turned back. But
she was getting sucked into a
whirlpool! " I'm gonna die" she
thought. She tumbled off the Girf
Co. board as it got sucked down.
Sue knew the same would
happen to her. She took one last
deep breath of air, and got
sucked down into the dark depths
of the sea.

Deeper in the depths of the
sea she got, as her ears
popped, her bones popped,
and her chances of survival
popped. "Surely I'm gonna die"
she thought. "Wait! I'm a
daughter of Poseidon! I can
breath underwater!" She
inhaled a big gulp as her lungs
filled with water. Her lungs
shut down. Her muscles shut
down. Her Brain shut down.
Her Heart shut down.

Sue woke up in a grand palace, titanic in
size, with beautiful vases, a chandelier,
and light blue brick everywhere. A large
man stood before, and Sue instantly knew
it was Poseidon. " Sue, my young lad! I
remember you well! Why have you come
here?" " Well, um, your highness, sir."
Sue squealed. " My Grandfather would
like some freshwater for our dying town."
" Anything, for a s- daughter of a god!"
The man said. " Thank you so much kind
sir!" Sue said as she pranced around the
palace... until she knocked over
Poseidon's Trident, blasting holes in the
ceiling.
