Aloha is a Hawaiian word meaning 

love. Hawaiians use the word to 

say hello and goodbye. Hawaii's 

nickname is the Aloha State. 

There are many beaches in Hawaii. The 

most famous beach in Hawaii is Waikiki.

beaches. Waikiki is one of the 

most popular beach in the

Hawaii has many coral reefs. Coral 

lives and grows underwater. Many 

sea animals make coral reefs their 

homes. Coral is the skeletons of 

small sea animals and limestone.

Diamond Head is located in 

Oahu. Diamond Head is a 750ft 

tuff crater. It is one of Hawaii's 

most famous landmark.

producers of macadamia nuts 

and was once known as the 

macadamia nut capital of the 

world.

Hawaii has many national 

parks. Hawaii Volcanoes

Kilauea Volcano, one of the 

most active volcanoes on 

earth. This is the most popular 

visitor attraction in Hawaii.

Oahu is the third largest 

island. Oahu is home to 

Hawaii's capital. The island's 

nickname is The Gathering 

Place. 

is for Pacific Ocean 

The island of Hawaii are 

located in the Pacific Ocean. 

The Pacific Ocean is the worlds 

biggest ocean.

Liliuokalani was the first  

queen of Hawaii. Liliuokalani 

was the last ruler of Hawaii. 

She ruled for two years until 

she was forced out of power. 

She later became a writer and 

translator.
