The First Day

“Bong...Bong...Bong...Bong.” Josh , Mark and Loyd jumped out of bed.
Today was their first day of knight training and they definitely didn't want
to be late! The three got dressed in dark green shirts and black loose pants
with ruffles at the waist line.
They slipped on their gray flats and headed out the door.
Mark and Josh were twin brothers and their father and grandfather had
also been knights. Loyd’s mother was also a knight and Loyd loved the idea
of protecting the kingdom.
Everyone made fun of her and told her that she couldn't be a knight
because she was a girl. But Loyd knew this was not true.
The more they told her she couldn't, the more determined she was to
become a knight . Now back to the story...
