Once upon a time, in a land far away, there lived a queen and king who were
brought together by an arranged marriage. The German king, who was in
love with anther woman was forced into marriage with a beautiful African
bride in order to expand territory. For a while, the king and queen did not
wish to conceive a child but the pressure to crown a new air in the distant
future was demanded. At last, a daughter was born and their worries were
turned into joy. The king and queen were instantly found of there child and
chose to name there daughter Princess Aurora. All the bells in the land
were rung to tell the glad tidings. A large christening McDonald's feast. so
grand that the like of it had never been seen was to be thrown to celebrate
the birth of the princess. The king invited all the nobles, royals and fairies,
except his beloved mistress, Maleficent. She was not granted the news of
the child from the king himself but from the town folk. The kings mistress
was the only fairy not invited and therefore, she craved revenge. On the
day of the celebration, all things were well. Three angel-like fairies blessed
the baby with beautiful characteristics and gifts.

Everything was going as planned until Maleficent marched through the castle
doors with and evil glare upon her face.
"Maleficent, what brings your here?!" said the king. The whole room grew
silent as the evil fairy started to approach the newborns carriage .
"Nice to see you again King Stefan! Hope you have been keeping my
supposed husband satisfies Queen Leah?" Maleficent expressed with a
smirk.
"You have no place in this kingdom!" Queen Leah asserted, whistle signaling
the guards to detain the intruder.
"Well, I'm here to give your child a gift" said Maleficent. The guards were
no match for her magic. She stood by the baby's crib and slammed her
staff on the ground. For some reason, after the guards failed attempts, the
queen and king tried nothing else to stop the evil fairy. Hopefully Aurora
does not inherit their stupidity.
Maleficent let out a devilish laugh and said "When Aurora turns 16, she will
receive a phone call and die"

Everyone gasped in shock and the king and queen begged for the evil fairy
to forgive them and reverse her spell but it was no use. As soon as
Maleficent left the kingdom, the castle was frantic. The queen turned to
the king and said "You actually considered marrying her?" with a harsh but
sarcastic tone. Unfortunately, the other fairies were not able to undo the
curse, as only the one who cast the spell can undo it. But they were able to
change the outcome. The three fairies, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather
were able to cast a spell that would allow Aurora to fall into a deep sleep
without dying.
Many years passed until a week before the princess's 16th birthday. The
king started to get nervous, and came up with an idea which was not the
smartest. He banished all phones present in the kingdom to ensure his
daughter was safe from the curse. This gave he town folk great fury.
Without cellphones and land lines, no one was able to communicate long
distance with each other. The majority of businesses were forced to shut
down because there business was not long able to run without using the
phone.

The economy started to go in ruins and the people demanded a change or
they would go on strike. Unfortunately, the king treasured his daughter more
than the kingdom itself and refused to allow phones to return. This turned in
to an angered protest, which threatened the kings throne. The day before
Aurora's birthday, the queen and king demanded the fairies Fauna, Flora and
Merryweather to take the princess deep into the woods, to keep her safe
from the protesters. Once gone, the king allowed phones back into the
kingdom and wished the best for his daughter.
The day of Aurora's birthday arrived and she was now 16. Her birthday wish
was for the fairies to make her a dress. The fairies obligated her demand
and set off to find a spinning wheel leaving Aurora alone. While they were
gone, an elderly woman came to the door. The princess promised the fairies
she would not open the door for strangers but the woman claimed she had a
gift for Aurora, and Aurora could not resist. Sadly, the princess grew up to
follow her parents foot step and resulted in her being thick witted and
gullible. The elderly lady handed Aurora a cellphone and told her she could
phone anyone she wishes.
