Preface

It was banging, the door was shaking. 

It was dying to get out and be free behind the 

gates, we were all wondering what was so 

furious. 

We were all trembling in our shoes. 

Everyone questioned,”What is that? Why 

would they have such a terrible thing in the 

amusement park.

Everyone was anxious. What could it be?

One breezy day on Halloween, JeweL and SparkeL  

were heading to the parade in the amusement 

park.  

When they reached the destination they suddenly 

heard...BANG!BANG!BANG!ROAR!!!! 

In a castle in the park,   lurking behind the opened 

doors,   there was a big dinosaur with a small, 

dusty, orange pumpkin on his huge head. It was 

being leashed by a witch. The witch had a broom 

and she was holding a Jack-o-Lantern. 

The dinosaur tried to get close to SparkeL. 

SparkeL quickly stepped back. All the dinosaur 

wanted to do was to touch SparkeL.  

SparkeL thought to herself, “Why can't I let it 

touch me? It doesn't seem harmful.” So 

SparkeL went up to the dinosaur and said,”Do 

you want to be my friend?” The dinosaur 

nodded.

From that day onwards, SparkeL and the 

dinosaur became good friends. Every time 

SparkeL went to amusement park with her 

family or friends she would always introduce the 

dinosaur to others.
