Two hours ago, a Biologist arrived in the Taiga.
She had lots and lots of supplies. When she
goes to sleep I want go look at her stuff. Oh
right I almost forgot, Hi I am Sugar Plum and I
am a bunny. Well Sugar Plum is my name, and
I am a bunny. Where was I again? Oh yeah, How
am I supposed to go and be really quiet and look
at her stuff? What if she is awake and catches me?

Seven hours later-Wow she has lots of cool things.
She is sleeping in a big orange mountain. I think it's
called a tent. She was working on some papers and
when she wasn't looking I nibbled on her apple.
I am getting very tired, I should go home. My mom
might be worried about me and wonder where I am.
So I went home and had dinner with my mom.

Then I went to bed and dreamed about what
tomorrow might bring.

As morning drew near, Mr. Fox woke up and
said "I am very hungry". Hmm what should I have for breakfast
today? "Let’s see what’s on the menu first" he said. He went out
and peaked around the bush and saw me. I was happily eating
berries. Oh he said "rabbit sounds good." That’s my favorite
breakfast to eat. He started walking towards me. The biologist
was watching me too. I heard the bushes move and I quickly
turned around. I saw him crouching in the snow opening his
mouth getting ready to take a bite out of me. I screeched and
hopped away. He started chasing me. When I noticed him close
behind I hopped out on a frozen lake.

When I hopped out on to the frozen lake, I hopped onto a
weak spot and fell right through the ice. The fox did not
know where I went because one second I was there and
the next I had vanished. So the fox walked away and went
to look for an easier prey to catch. Then the biologist
came out when she saw the fox was gone. She tried to see
where I was. So she approached the frozen lake and noticed
me struggling in the water. She knew right away if I was
in the water any longer I could freeze to death. So she
reached down in to the icy cold water and picked me up.
She saved my life!

I was so thankful but so cold, I did not know what to do.
She also knew I was very cold, I was shaking and I just
came out of a frozen lake!
