This storybook is dedicated to anyone who wants to help toward the
cause of ending cyberbullying, especially those who are currently or
have been cyberbullied. This storybook is to show that cyberbullying
can be stopped. If you see cyberbullying happening, remember to
report it immediately to a trusted adult and to help the victim being
cyberbullied. Together, we can end cyberbullying once and for all.

Meet John. John is a good student at Tech Elementary.
He loves to text his friends on his phone.

One day, George, the new kid, asked John and his
friends, Kevin and Juan, if they wanted to play soccer.

John missed a shot and lost George the game. This made
George mad. He started sending John mean texts.

JohnI'm very sorry.You're stupidStop it, please!YOU MISSED!

Too bad.

STOP IT!No, you loser.

This made John very sad. Kevin and Juan were also mad
at him. They started making fun of John online too.

John is stupid!

What a loser!

Soon, everyone at school started sending him hurtful
messages through text and on social media. John
received mean comments that called him (continued).

You look like a nerd!

And you're bad at soccer!

bad at soccer. He was also called stupid and a loser.
John had no more friends and he wouldn't leave his
room. The cyberbullies had hurt his feelings.

John's mother saw him crying and asked him what was
wrong. He tells her about the cyberbullying that made
him very sad.

What's wrong, honey?

My classmates are
cyberbullying me. It's
making me very sad.

John's mother tells the principal, Mr. Tech, about the
problem. The students are called to a meeting. Mrs.
Tech is very angry at the cyberbullies.

My son, John, is being cyberbullied!

I'm very sorry to hear that,
ma'am. I'll call a meeting
with the students right now!
