Once upon a time, it was a nice and sunny day
and many children were playing on the huge
playground. Thomas and Holly were the king and
queen of the playground, they were getting things
ready for the big party they were having. The
children were playing everywhere around the
playground. Hermia and Helena, who were best
friends played together on the slides. Hermia
overheard Eli, Hermia’s brother talking to Thomas
and Holly about something serious. Hermia walked
over to find out what the problem was.

Eli was very upset; he told Thomas and Holly that
he wanted Hermia to go to the party with
Demetrius, Eli’s best friend. The problem was
Hermia wanted to be friends with Lysander and
wanted to go to the party with him instead of
Demetrius. Thomas saw that this problem was very
serious, he gave Hermia two choices. Thomas told
Hermia that she could either be friends with
Demetrius or go home and never be allowed back
to the playground ever again. Hermia had to make
a tough decision in 4 days, before the party began.
Eli decided to go home until the problem was fixed.

Hermia went back to the slides and told Helena
what just happened. Helena then told Hermia
that she wanted to be friends with Demetrius.
Suddenly, Hermia had a plan; she and Lysander
would run far far away together, towards the
other side of the playground.

Hermia and Lysander would run away and go to the
swing set and play there together. Hermia also said
that once she and Lysander leave then Helena could
stay with Demetrius and play with him. Helena liked
Hermia’s plan, but she had a plan of her own.
Helena thought that if she told Demetrius about
Hermia’s plan to run away, then Demetrius would
want to be friends with her. Helena went off and told
Demetrius what was going on, Demetrius became
upset and decided to follow Lysander and Hermia to
the swing set. Helena decided to follow Demetrius as
well.

It was getting dark and Hermia and Lysander
were getting tired, a while later they reached the
swing set. Soon after Hermia and Lysander fell
asleep in front of the swings. Helena and
Demetrius got lost on their way to the swing sets
and started arguing over which way to go.

Titania and Oberon were king and queen of the fairies.
Titania was spending all her time playing with a boy who
was new to the playground. Oberon became very jealous
over Titania and the new boy’s friendship. Oberon was
very upset so he went on a walk. Oberon noticed a group
of boys, practicing a play they wanted to show King
Thomas and Queen Holly at their party. Oberon walked
on and noticed Helena and Demetrius who was still lost,
and arguing, Demetrius was being very mean to Helena.
Oberon then created a plan to help Helena and also help
him. Oberon asked his good friend Puck to go and find
the magic flower that was hidden near the swing sets.
Oberon told Puck that once he found the flower he should
sprinkle that flower’s juice on Demetrius.

The magic flower made children be friends with
the first person they saw. The problem was Puck
did not know what Demetrius looked like, but
Puck wanted to make Oberon happy so he
decided to just sprinkle the flower’s juice on the
first boy he see’s.When Puck reached the swing
sets he found the magic flower, he also found
Hermia and Lysander sleeping. Puck thought
Lysander was Demetrius and sprinkled the
flower’s juice on him. Puck went off to find
Oberon and tell him what happened.
