telecommunication signals. Looks like
fireworks!

A very special electric component. It has two
sides which typically allows the flow of current
in one direction only.

Fuse
Is a piece of wire and material with a very low
melting point. When high currents flows
through the circuit. When the circuit is broken
it stops current from flowing.

Generator
Very useful machine that supplies electrical
power during a power
outage, and prevents disruption in
daily activities.

Hairdryer
Is a electrical mechanical device designed to
blow normal or hot hair
over damp hair, in order to accelerate
the evaporation of water particles and dry the
hair.

Insulator
Is a material designed to prevent heat and or
electricity. It is made from a very soft fiber
material. Feels like touching a soft cotton.

Jackhammer
A portable drill powered by electricity and
compressed air. Also, it has two handles on one
end and a chisel-like bit on the other that
rapidly jabs up and down to break down things.

Kettle
Is a type of pot used for making tea. Another
name is called "tea pot". Kettles can be heated
by placing it on an electrical hot stove. Be
careful, it's very hot!

Lighting
Is an electric current. It is caused
small bits of ice (frozen raindrops)
bumping into each other as it moves
around in the air. After a while, the
clouds fills up with electrical charges.
Stay indoors,you'll be safe and sound!

Meter
Is an electric meter Electrician need use to
determine the company, buildings, and or
homes usage of power and measurement of
the amount of power used by customer.

NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers
Association)
Is an organization of electrical equipments and
medical imaging manufacturer. It was founded
in 1926 and headquartered in Rosslyn, Virginia.

Oven
Is a thermally insulated electrical chamber.
Used for heating, backing, drying, and or
cooking foods.

Plug
A plug is defined as the end cord for an electrical
device with prongs that fit into a wall socket.
