Before Asparagus and her friends even 

entered the mouth Gastrin the leader 

sent all his peasants to destroy them.

He made the muscle workers go to work 

and sent acids and enzymes to go 

attack them. 

"Im just a carbohydrate I dont 

want to be turned into smaller 

pieces know as glucose 

molecules."

Instead of considering themselves as food 

they were now called bolus. This was the 

only way that they could get into

the esophagus. They got on board the

Peristalsis train.

This train did not rely on coal but on 

Muscle workers that turned the gears in a 

wave like motion in order for the train to 

move down the esophagus. This is called 

Peristalsis. 

Before being able to enter the next 

battlefield; the stomach. They must first 

pass through the cardiac sphincter doors. 

Once they pass through the doors and 

enter the stomach they will rank as Chyme 

warriors. They went from being food to 

bolus to chyme warriors. 

Once they entered the stomach it began 

to churn. They were not sure what this 

meant until they saw a juice like 

substance emerging.

It was Hydrochloric Acid the substance 

that has destroyed one of the districts 

years ago. 

While trying to brainstorm for another way 

out, a stranger appeared. 

"Hi I am Pepsinogen the great!"said the 

stranger

"Can you help us get out of here?" said 

Asparagus.

However they had not realize that the acid 

had been rising and in a blink of an eye 

Pepsinogen was consumed by the acid. 

However Pepsinogen the Great emerges 

from the acid and left asparagus in 

disbelief. 

"I am no longer Pepsinogen the Great I 

am Pepsin the great"

He started to attack Asparagus. 

Somehow the Hydrochloric acid turned 

him evil. 

In order to escape they had to pass through the 

pyloric sphincter doors. However they kept 

breaking down into smaller pieces. If they did 

not get out soon there would be nothing left of 

them. 

The Small Intestine battle field was the most 

feared of all. It had three stages that no one 

ever came out alive of. 

Pita was already weak and fragile who knew 

how much longer he could last.

The first stage; the Duodenum. They did not 

realize that once they entered the Duodenum 

attackers from the pancreas, liver and 

gallbladder stations were on their way. 

"If we don't leave now, we will never make it 

out alive!" said butters. 

"We must follow this map and try to get to the 

Jejunum Base before they get to us!" said Pita 

who was in small pieces.

makes them to smaller 

facts also so known as 

emulsification. 

It was too late the Bile-Nator had grabbed 

butter and started emulsifying him 

Into smaller pieces of fat. 

Before Asparagus Evergreen and Pita

could do anything they heard some one

shout;

"It's too late to run"

It was the Pancreatic Enzymes Squad.

Trypsin: Unfolds Proteins

Protease: Breaks down proteins to amino acids

Lipase: Breaks down fats. Fatty acids to Glycerol.

Nuclease: transforms nucleic acids to 

nucleotides

Comes from Pancreas

Trypsin and Protease started attacking Asparagus 

because she is a protein. While Lipase and Bile 

continued to attack the little that was left of 

Butters because he is a fat. 

Defeated and broken down, the three Friend's laid 

in the duodenum. Hopeless and weak. Was this the 

end of them?
