Once, a Fox was walking through the dark forest. Suddenly, he saw a Lion.
This was his first time that he was seeing a Lion. He had always heard
that a Lion is a ferocious animal. So, he was terribly frightened and cried,
"Here comes the beast of the forest!"
The fox ran and hid himself. Then on another day, the Fox saw the Lion
again. He stopped at a safe distance and watched the Lion pass by. He
thought, "I am not as scared of the Lion as the last time."
The third time they saw each other, the Fox went straight to the Lion and
said "Hello! How are you today?" They both spent time talking with each
other. The Fox also asked him about his family.
The Fox thought, "I am not frightened of the Lion any more. He seems to
be a nice fellow!"
