Once upon a time in a forest far away, there
lived a village of caterpillars waiting to fly away.

The caterpillars loved to play and use little
toys made out of clay.

Everyone had lots of fun; everyone except for
one.

Camille the caterpillar weeped around a ton.
She wouldn't even play with anyone.

Camille was sad because her disability was
bad.

Depression makes caterpillars sad, and it
makes them feel that they are bad.

Camille was especially depressed this June
because soon when the light was bright from
the moon,

All the little caterpillars would have their own
cocoon.

When Camille talked to her grandmother Tess,
she told her how she was very depressed.

She also shared about how becoming a butterfly
made her feel stressed.

But grandmother Tess said becoming a
butterfly is part of a caterpillars process.

When Camille went home that night,
She didn’t want to take any part in being a
butterfly in flight.

But then she thought of a plan that would take
place in the sunlight.

This is what will happen in her plan:
First she will lie to her parents about taking out
the trash can.

Next, she will run very far away; maybe to
Japan.

Lastly, Camille will start a new life
wherever she ran .

So the next day she left when it was early and
bright. She ran and ran until nothing familiar
was in sight.

Next thing she knew, there were buildings big
in height. She walked around, and ate ice
cream bite by bite.

But Camille kept on walking through,
Until she saw an ocean big and blue.

She thought this place would be fresh and new,
but all that it brought her was sadness and the
stomach flu.

Camille kept on walking until the sky around her
was dark, and since she was tired she decided to
nap in the park.

But she didn’t know that a pirate was watching
and his name was Clark.

The next morning she woke up to a strange set
of yells, and when she opened her eyes she
was in a jail cell.

“Well look who’s awake; isn’t that swell”
Said the pirates whose smell wasn’t very well.

“Why did you take me, a caterpillar that’s
small?” said Camille with a face as red as an
uncooked meatball.

Pirate Clark looked around and then said,
“Because for our cannon we need a ball.”

So as fast as she could, Camille escaped the
ship for good.
