Building in my Neighborhood2
At first I couldn't REALLY find an interesting building in my neighborhood . We went around and found an interesting building and had a lot of cool
geometrical shapes and features that i like. Well the cubes and rectangular
prisms on this building are used for helping the building to stand up.
Cubes have right angles, parallel lines, and perpendicular lines. The cube
it self is perpendicular to the ground. Also in this building the cube shape
is used as the main entrance.
Rectangular prisms have right angles, perpendicular lines, and parallel lines.
This rectangular prisms are used as the columns of the building. This are
important because they bring support to the roof and walls. In this building
you see a square windows to bring natural light into the building.
The Roofs or pyramids on top of the cubes and rectangular prisms are used to
slide the snow, rain, sleet, or any kind of things that land on the roof/pyramid.
The roofs have normally acute angles, the acute angles help any kind of
weather that lands on roofs slide down because since one side of the angle
looks like a slide.
Introduction3

This building used acute angles for the roof.

4
1. Acute Angle

The acute angle is the small angle which is less than 90°.Images for acute angle5

Horizontal lines for creative artistic designs.2. Horizontal LinesIt is a straight, flat line that goes from left to right.
It symbolize tranquility and rest

6
.3. Rectangle
A plane figure with four straight sides and four right angles, two side are long and 2 side are short.

7
4. Right AngleAn angle of 90°, as in a corner of a square or at the intersection of two perpendicular straight lines.

Right angles are one of the most common and interesting angles in all of geometry. It even has its own angle symbol.
In the figure above, set the angle to 90°.
8
5. Parallel Lines:
In geometry, parallel lines are lines in a plane which do not meet.Parallel line remain the same distance apart over their entire length.
No matter how far you extend them, they will never meet.
9
7. Vertical LinesIn geometry, a vertical line is one which runs from up and down the page.

A vertical line is perpendicular to a horizontal line. 10
