    One bright, sunny day I wanted to go for an 

adventure. So, I decided to go explore the 

river. 

   While I was floating in my tube, I saw a dog 

on the river bank. It jumped at me, and I was 

so scared. Then I scared it away by splashing 

it, and it ran back home.

     Next, a sunfish jumped so high that it went in 

my tube. I took it home to eat later. 

    Finally, a goose came and it flew in my face. 

Suddenly, it flew away with me and dropped 

me down in the water. Luckily, I was able to 

swim back to my tube. 

     One sunny day I decided to go down the Mississippi River. 

When I went down there I saw a black bear in the water eating 

grass. I got scared because I do not like bears. I screamed so 

loud I lost my voice. Finally, the bear got scared and took off.

    After that, I saw a mean old cat on a fisherman’s boat. The 

cat tried to jump on my tube, but the fisherman’s boat hit a 

rock. So I made my escape by steering in a different direction.

   Later, I saw a skunk on the riverbank. The water brought me 

towards the skunk. He was close enough to spray me. "Oh 

no!". Too late...I jumped in the water to clean off. 

   One hot summer day, I felt like going down 

the river with my new tube. The river flowed 

through the woods. 

   As I was floating down the river, I saw white 

eyes staring at me through the woods. It was a 

wolf! I was afraid he would jump on the tube. But 

luckily, the river quickly floated me past him. 

   Next, I heard a snake in the river. I saw it 

coming towards me. Then I splashed it. It still 

didn't go away. I splashed it again... Finally, it 

went away and then I was safe. 

   "Oh no!" I heard a bear in the river eating 

fish. 

      One morning,   I was on my blue Jet ski, 

floating down the river.
