Lily Rodriguez, a beautiful blond girl who is very Compassionate, Charismatic, Sympathetic, Optimistic, Dependable, Friendly and at last, a girl that has the desire to be a better person in life. With the desire that Lily has developed over her childhood years of wanting to be a better person and wanting to change the world others tend to think of her as someone who is very selfish and stuck-up, but what is so wrong with wanting the things that Lily desires?

Well, what many don't comprehend is that Lily is very compassionate and she is not a quitter. Lily would do anything to get what she wants and that's why many judge her. Lily goes to Duke University and she resides with her best friend Zoe. Lily and Zoe have been best friends since kindergarten, they've always been there for each other and like every other friendship they have had their disagreements, but those disagreements never seem to break that unbreakable bond of theirs.

Lily is a girl who loves helping others, she loves letting others know that she’s there for them and that they’ll have a shoulder to cry on if they need one. Lily once helped a girl that was about to commit suicide and a guy that felt despised by the people that were close to him. Lily would do anything to occasionally visit Jessica whenever she could. Jessica lived in California and Lily would always travel to make sure she was okay. Jessica said that no one has ever done something like that for her and by Lily going out of her way to be there for her Jessica began feeling special and unique.

She claims that she never thought of hurting herself again after what Lily did for her and this made Lily feel very content. With John, she would always facetime him and talk to him. She made him feel so special and happy that he decided to move near her. Lily still talks to both Jessica and John and she really enjoys their company whenever she gets to meet up with them.

But as Lily helps others she begins to develop an unusual feeling, she begins feeling lonely. She thought that this was odd just because she never really felt like this before and Zoe is always there with her. Even though she didn’t really understand why she felt the way she felt she knew that she had to do something about it before it got worst. Talking to Zoe would always make Lily feel better so she decided to go out, grab a bite with Zoe and talk to her about that loneliness she was experiencing. Zoe immediately knew that Lily's loneliness couldn't be because she didn't have someone by her side. That was not possible since Lily and Zoe are always together, but she decided that it was time to find Lily a significant other. After they talked they both went to their house and Zoe set up a blind date.

Zoe thought that her friend Anthony would be the best candidate, not only because Anthony was Zoe’s friend but because Anthony is known to be a very nice guy. He’s very respectful and honest. Zoe knew that Anthony would never do anything to hurt Lily especially because Zoe told Anthony how special Lily is to her. Anthony loved what he heard about Lily, he loved the fact that she will go after what she wants and that she was very optimistic so he agrees to go on the blind date. Now Zoe has to tell Lily about the date and hope that she agrees to go.

The next day, Zoe calls Lily and asks her to meet her at Hibachi Lily's favorite Chinese Restaurant. Lily immediately goes thinking there's something wrong with Zoe. Zoe sees Lily and starts feeling anxious about what Lily would think about her idea, so Lily comes over and sits down. As Zoe is asking Lily questions of her day and how was school she's praying that Lily would agree to trust her and go on the blind date. Zoe brings up the idea and Lily instantly agrees.[
