Chapter 1

Once upon a time in the deep blue sea there lived a little mermaid name Aqua. She lived in a kingdom called Sandia. Aqua was chosen to be on this earth just like you!! She was the one of the two million sperm to make it to the egg.

Before Aqua was a baby mermaid she was a baby zygote just like everyone else. During this two week stage there is a cell division that occurs during the first ten days and later the attaches the uterine wall. After the two weeks the zygote is then called a embryo. This embryo stage last from two weeks to two months and organs begin to form and functions and the heart begins to start beating. During weeks nine all the way to birth the embryo is then called a fetus. During the fetus stage the little fetus can begin to hear sounds. Throughout all these stages there is also a Placentia that allows for the mother to transfer her nutrients and oxygen to her little mermaid. Her mother made sure not to drink or do any drugs in order to avoid teratogens and fetal alcohol syndrome when her mermaid was born.

Throughout Aqua's first years of life she began developing trust with familiar faces. In the ages of one through three she began learning how to swim and how to speak more words.

Chapter 2

Aqua began growing (especially her frontal lobe which developed her control over attention and behavior) to be a mermaid full of curiosity and questions.

Why don't I have a shell? Why is the ocean blue and why can't it be pink?

Aqua also had reflexes that she didn't even notice such as blinking, swimming, and talking. These are things that just come naturally.

Those are your reflexes sweetie.

Why do some things come naturally without me having to think about them?

Chapter 3

As Aqua Grew more and more each day she finally hit and important time in her life... ADOLESCENCE which happened when Aqua was fifteen but this stage can happen anytime from teen years and early twenty's.
