Introduction

Ten years ago after the Trojan war, odyssey left the goddess calypso's island.

The man and the sheep

hungry and wanted to eat the sheep on this island ,but the sheep belonged to another person. Odysseus warned his men not to eat the sheep, but Odysseus' men did not care and ate the sheep so the owner of the sheep became angry. He person sent an army to attack whoever ate his sheep.

Sailing from troy

Odysseus and his army were on their way to Ismarus. Odysseus and his army would land from island to island .On this island odysseus and his army got down and raided the town,losing many men in each ship from the Cicones army.

Odysseus and his army soon became.

The lotus flower

it and few of his army ate the flower. the rest that listened to Odysseus set sail with him again.

The lotus-eaters

Odysseus and his men were still landing from island to island for to take some rest. once they set sail again the wind got strong and pushed odysseus and his men passed cytheria, making them land on which if you ate it, would not want anything in the world but the lotus,

Odysseus warned his army not to.

The cyclops makes such a racket that other cyclopes gather outside his cave and ask him what is wrong. we hear his name polyphemos for the first time.They ask if any man has tricked him. polyphemus yells out to them:"Nobody's ruined me!.

The lovely goddess, circe told Odysseus that he can return home after he stops at the land of the Dead . She told Odysseus he would deal with Tiresias (blind prophet from the bes ). circe told him he would be able to return to Ithaca. Odysseus then Odysseus circe and he and his men sailed off to find the land of the Dead to talk to the blind .

Land of Dead.

Odysseus goes to the land of the Dead as circe tell him to.He did as she ordered him to.He dug a trench and poured milk,honey, and more into it .He then sprinkled barely and sacrificed a sheep. The blood then attracted the dead.The first that approached him was elpenor, one of Odysseus men who had died back with circ
