Aa is for Autumn




Autumn is the season that happens after summer and before winter.
Fun Fact: When autumn happens the leaves change color.

Bb is for Blizzard




Blizzard are really bad snow storms where you can not see clearly.
Fun Fact: Blizzards can get up to 35 miles per hour or higher.

Cc
Cc is for Cloudburst
A cloudburst gives us heavy rain that is very sudden.
Fun Facts: The rain forest experience the most cloudburst.

Dd is for Drizzle




Drizzle is small rain drops that fall slowly.
Fun Fact: Drizzle can make us not see clearly at times.

Ee is for Evaporation.
Evaporation changes something that is liquid, like water, into a gas, like steam.
Fun Fact: Evaporation happens when the sun dries up the water.

Ff is for Funnel Cloud




Funnel Clouds is a tornado that does not reach the ground.
Fun Fact: It is a cone-shaped that extends downward.

Gg is for Global Warming
Global Warming is causing a lot of weather changes on our planet. Like the ice caps melting the the North Pole.
Fun Fact: Global warming is not only effecting the North Pole but also effecting our states.

Hh is for Hurricane




Hurricanes are about 1,000 to 5,000 times bigger than a tornado.
Fun Fact: Hurricanes are usually 300 miles across in length.

Ice turns water into a solid form.
Ii is for Ice
Fun Fact: The freezing point of water is 32°F.

Jet Streams are high level winds that reach wind speeds up to 200 miles per hour.
Jj is for Jet Streams
Fun Fact: Jet streams happen two times in the North and South.

Kk is for sprinkle
Sprinkle is a light rain that barely wets the ground.
Fun Fact: With out rain there would be no flowers.

Ll is for Lighting
Lighting is an enormous and very hot spark of electricity produced by thunderstorms.
Fun Fact: Lighting bolt can heat the air at about 54,000° F.

Fun Facts: A meteor shower occurs when the Earth passes through the trail of debris left by a comet or asteroid.
Meteors are bits of rocks and ice ejected from comets as they move into their orbits.

Mm is for Meteor

Nn
Nimbus is a large grey rain cloud.
Fun Fact: The word nimbus is Latin for rain.
Nn is for Nimbus

Oo is for Overcast
Fun Fact: When there is an overcast you do not see any light coming through the clouds.
An overcast covers the whole sky with grey clouds, but does not mean it is going to rain.

Pp is for Precipitation
Precipitation is when water, like rain, falls from clouds to the ground.
Fun Fact: There are many forms of precipitation, like rain and snow.
