Alice is a senior in high school, which is the most important year of school. Applying to college, figuring out what to major in, part-time jobs to pay for school, the pressure of making A's and B's, and the peer pressure from fellow classmates. Alice is a nice girl, who has few friends, she tends to be quite, and is shy. Alice is not outgoing, and she lets people run over her, but most of all, Alice is a hard working student.
2
Because of bills, and college coming up in the fall, Alice got a job at the local Bojangles so she could start saving up money. Soon after, Alice soon realized that working, and going to school was tough. Alice is having a hard time finding the time to do her homework, and study. As her grades start to drop, Alice is starting to get very stressed out and anxious about it. But, working at Bojangles is a very demanding job, and she cant seem to find the way to ask her manager for some help.

3
Alice knows that giving up is never an option, even though she may want too. Alice decides to deal with it, and continue to work almost everyday of the week after school, and on weekends. But Alice still needs to find the time to be able to do her homework and study. This has Alice feeling very stressed out to the point where she cant find a way out of the deep pit of stress and anxiety.

4
Alice start to notice that the stress is affecting her body, and her mental state. She is more emotional, and more irritable. Alice decides she needs to find something to giver her temporary relief from the stress, and other emotions she's been having. She starts to cut, almost everyday she would cut to get some sort of relief. But this left scars, and affected her relationships with her family and friends. But Alice continued because it gave her that relief that she needed.

5
As things were starting to take its toll on Alice, she decides to talk to her manager. Her manager agreed to let Alice have three days off a week, so she can get her school work done. Her manager also adjusted her schedule so Alice wont be at work so late on a school night. Her manager was very understanding and told Alice if she needed to take some days off for school then she could. Her manager told her that school was more important, and that Alice should have came to her sooner.

6
Since that burden was taken off her shoulders, Alice is now less stressed and can be happy. Alice decides to quit cutting because it is a dangerous habit that no one should do. Its also very addictive, so now Alice talks to her family, and gets help from a therapist to help her with the cutting and stress issues.

7
Alice now knows when she gets into a stressful situation, to talk to someone and get some help. When stressed out, do not take it out on yourself, or others. If you get stressed out to your limit, take a break. Do something that relaxes you. When you see up coming events in the future that you know will stress you out, have strategies such as meditation, working out, animals etc. for a back up plan when you reach your limit.
