Chapter 1

Hello?

One stormy night, crying could be heard. I followed the cry to a creepy mansion. "Hello?" I said, after i knocked on the door. Suddenly the crying stopped and the door creaked open all by itself, or so it seemed. Then, i went in and the door slammed behind me! From the dark came out a lovely maiden in a beautiful black wedding gown.

"Hello,"i said "who are you?""I am the Black Juliet," she said in a soft lovely voice

The Black Juliet, these words are bombarding my head. Not long after, i remembered the story of the Black Juliet that my mom used to tell me before bed every night.

Chapter 2

Mystery Guy

"Hello child,"she whispered to my ear"How are you Layla?"I was almost scared to death when she did that."How do you know my name when you haven't met me?"I asked in a polite manner."Well dear, i am your mother in law.""No your not,"i insist her,"my mother in law is Jessica.""I am supposed to be your

mother in law, Penny.""But how and why?..."I cant stop trembling in fear.Would you follow me to the living hall?"she asked me."Okay,"i said not knowing what to do.So i followed her into the deeper parts of the mansion.Along the way there were a lot of old paintings with the picture of Jace, my father in law.I was scared

at the same time curious."What is

happening?"i asked myself.

Chapter 3

A love story ruined

She asked me to sit on the couch and so i did. She also asked me if i wanted some tea but i kindly rejected. She started to tell me a story and it seems to be a sad one because she started crying.She told me when she was at my age(21), she felled in love with my father in law, Jace.

They saw each other and know it was love at first sight. They became girlfriend and boyfriend and were very happy together. They married after 6 years and had a baby, who is my current boyfriend , Caleb.But before Caleb was even a month old, something tragic happened. Jace's ex-girlfriend came back to visit Jace and she found out Jace was married to Penny. She was jealous and wanted Jace back so she lock Penny in the mansion without anyone knowing and Penny died.

As for her husband, Jace was looking for her everywhere but couldn't find the mansion or even her. He was upset and thought that she ran away from home. That night, he drank too much and accidentally married Jessica. Life when on and they both, Jace and Jessica fall in love again with each other. Penny was left heartbroken and she remain as a spirit stuck on

this terrible world.
