Mark Cuban was born on July 31, 1958. He was a really hard worker, even at such a young age. He would sell garbage bags to save up for shoes. In high school, he was working many part time jobs. Mark Cuban developed good characteristics at a young age, and he became really successful in his life because of this.

Mark Cuban went to Pittsburgh University, but then he transferred to Indiana University after one year. He was short on money for college, so he payed it off by giving dance lessons. Mark Cuban has again showed that he is really motivated. He graduated as Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Mark Cuban was still looking for big opportunities after college. He first worked in a bank. He got fired because he gave his boss too many suggestions. In his second job, he worked in a software business. He got fired again because he wanted to sell his stake, but the boss didn't want him to.

Mark Cuban was not a man to take directions. He wanted to fulfill the American dream, so he moved to Dallas from Indiana. He loved technology, so he set up a technology business called MicroSolutions. He had help for people who had any problems with technology. He had to sell the company for $6 million.

Mark Cuban, unfortunately, had to sell his business. He still didn't want to be given directions by any boss. Mark Cuban, creatively, founded another business, called Broadcast.com. It gave everybody the opportunity to watch a vast variety of sports games. Mark Cuban sold at the right time. He sold Broadcast.com to Yahoo for $6 billion.

Fortunately, Mark Cuban had more good luck coming his way. In 2000, he bought the Dallas Mavericks for $285 million. It was always his dream to find a job related to sports, and what better than owning an NBA team.

Mark Cuban's style of ownership was perhaps the highlight of his career. Because he was so passionate, he made the NBA more appealing, he got the fans excited about the Mavs, and he sat with the fans in every single Dallas game. This style of ownership was unheard of, and this is why Mark Cuban is the best owner of an NBA team.
