Rosie opened her eyes and looked around the 

nursery. A beautiful black and red wolf was looking 

down at her. "Hello little one!" She barked excitedly.

"Hi Ivy!" Rosie called at her mother. Rosie looked 

down at her coat, Black, red, and white just like her 

mother, but with white. Her father, Raven was licking 

Ivy's ears. "She is beautiful just like her mother!" 

Raven smiled at her and Ivy blushed, but said 

nothing in return. Rosie looked around her and 

realized she had no siblings. She felt lonely, but sleep 

was nagging her so she curled up with her mom and 

fell asleep.

Rosie felt something nudging her. "Wakey wakey!" Ivy 

was calling out to her sleeping pup. Rosie opened her 

eyes filled with sleep. She suddenly realized where she 

was and sat up. 

"Can I go play outside?" She barked. Ivy nodded and 

Rosie ran outside happily. When she was out she saw 

some wolfs re-stocking the fresh kill pile. Someone 

knocked her over and she fell face first on the ground. 

"Sorry there little pup i didn't see you there!" He said 

apologetically. She got up and shook herself off dust flew 

in the air. 

"It's okay!" She sighed.

"I'm Dawn and you must be.....," He thought for a 

minute, "...Rosie right?"

"yes I'm Rosie!" He nodded and padded away.

She felt alone again. She looked around the clearing and 

spotted her fathers black and white pelt. She looked 

around the dark forest of The Shadows (The name of her 

pack.) She started to get cold in the freezing air, so she 

padded back into the nursery. When she arrived the 

nursery was full of life. Her mother saw her come in, 

"Rosie these are the two newest members of the pack, 

Darkness, and Eclipse."   Rosie looked at Darkness as he 

opened his eyes. There eyes locked for a moment and 

she felt like they were the only wolf pups in the world. 

Later she felt tired so she curled up with her mom and fell 

asleep thinking of Darkness.

1 Year Later

Rosie awoke in the fighters den. She had chosen a nest 

near Darkness. She padded out of the den and took a 

Thrush from the fresh kill pile and sat down to eat it. 

When she was done she padded into the Alphas den to 

visit her dear friends the Alphas Lunar, and Taku. They 

have been sick for almost 6 months and were getting 

worse everyday. When she entered Lunar was coughing 

and Taku was huddled next to her sneezing. "Hello." Lunar 

coughed.

"Hi" Rosie barked hoping she wasn't disturbing anyone. 

Lunar started snoring and she realized she was sleeping so 

she walked outside. The morning breeze whistled through 

the trees as she walked to her den to sleep.

Rosie awoke the next day to find all the cats grooming 

themselves. "Hi Rosie did you hear Lunar and Taku are 

going to pick a Beta to take there place today!" Rosie 

looked shocked. Did that mean they were going to die? 

She groomed herself to make her look presentable. She 

also thought of an idea she would help out more with 

the pack. She padded out and started off by going to 

the elders den to see if they needed any help. 

"Do you need any help?" Rosie asked one of the elders. 

He nodded and pointed at his bedding. So she picked it 

up and rolled it in a ball and went to collect some fresh 

moss and bracken. When she was finished she ate a 

shrew and a rabbit. Then she took some food for the 

elders to eat. They were very grateful and even said 

they would recommend her as the Alpha female. She 

padded off happily and tired so she went back to 

fighters den and took a nap.
