When I had moved to my new house, I felt a little empty inside, so I asked my parents if I could get a dog, they said "no" so then I asked,  "may I have a kitten then" and they said "if we can find one in the paper then maybe" so a couple weeks later, I was looking through the papers and I seen kittens for sale, I showed it to my parents and asked them if I could get one, they said "well, there pretty close to home, so why not" I was so exited to get a kitty, so the next day or so, we rode down to get a kitten, there were 2 black and white kittens, and 2 calico kittens, I chose one of the calico kittens, and we got into the car, my father then said "aww, shes gonna be lonely, so we should get one of her sisters too"

I smiled in excitement of having 2 kittens, so my dad got one of the black and white kittens, they let me name them both, so I named the calico one wendy, and the black and white one mittens, mittens was full of energy and she loved looking out the windows on the way home, so when we got home, I gave them their first bathes since they were still about 7 weeks old, mittens surprisingly loved the water, meanwhile wendy hated it, so at night I wouldn't get much sleep because I would stay up all night watching them, making sure they were alright, that they wouldn't stop breathing or anything in their sleep, the next day, I had woke up, and mittens was laying on my stomach, purring in my face,

I grew very attached to her, and her favorite room was mine, my 12 birthday came around, and she was spending everyday with me, enjoying it, we watched youtube together, because she had grown up a bit more, she was now 2 years old, she was a beautiful cat, loving every single day of her life, after my 12th birthday party had ended, she got really sick, she wouldn't eat, couldn't move, so me and my parents worked hard, and we got her better, but after that, she became kind of mean, my thoughts were "is she beginning to hate us" and I was the only one she was nice to after that, and then it was near Christmas of 2015, I got another kitten, and I named him chi, mittens hated him,

but she even began attacking her sister, we were all wondering what was going on but we thought everything would be okay, she got better, but about 2 months later, she got really sick again, but this time, we fed her and gave her water, but she still wouldn't get better, she couldn't move at all anymore, and she began using the bathroom on the floor, we got very worried, and I called my aunt, she came up and told us, "spend as much time with her as you can, because she will probably pass tomorrow" I began crying, thinking that I would lose my precious mittens,

the next day I woke up very early because I was worried, but she was still here, on the bathroom floor, I went in and petted her and told her, "mittens, if you can hear me, I love you, ive raised you for almost your whole life, and please try to get though this" and I began crying more, so my mom comforted me, and calmed me down, so I was watching youtube, and my mom came out and told me, "she passed" I started crying a lot, and I tried running into the bathroom, but she wouldn't let me, a couple minutes later, she came out and said, she came back, but shes barely breathing, I began thinking "did she come back because I tole her please don't go?"

she still wouldn't let me in, but I prayed for her, about 30 minutes later, she had finally passed, and I was crying a lot, we barried her next to my old cat bear, and that is the story of my cat mittens :'(
