Once upon a time, a long time ago there lived a dragon named Thomas. Thomas was a nice dragon and he lived in the forest. He was very lonely. One day Thomas began to take a morning walk in the forest.

Thomas went near the village. He did not go near the village often because people were scared because they thought he was a bad dragon. The people thought that all dragons were bad because his uncle who looked exactly like Thomas set fire to many houses in the village. He was the most feared dragon in many villages. Thomas saw a boy and saw that he was alone. Thomas thought that he looked lonely and and tried to say hi but the boy ran away from him. "Why did he run away from me. All I want is a friend!" thought Thomas. Thomas then walked away lonely and sad.

Thomas went back home and he was very sad and upset." Why should I be feared, I want to be a dragon that everyone likes." said Thomas. Thomas heard someone walking and hid behind a tree because people were scared of him..

It was the same boy who ran away from him earlier. Thomas thought that the boy looked like he needed help. "I must help him and prove to him that I am a good dragon!" thought Thomas.

The boy saw Thomas and ran away from him again. Thomas saw that the boy dropped a bag. The bag spilled out an apple, orange, potato and a carrot. Thomas knew that since the cold weather is approaching , that food is needed for the food supply so the people do not become hungry. "I must return this as soon as possible."thought Thomas.

Thomas walked to the village. He was so scared because once when he walked to the village, the people threw water at him and called him "The Destroyer". From the far distance Thomas heard screams and Thomas kept on going because he knew if he did not show people what a good dragon he is, people will forever be mean to him.

Thomas was now at the village. Everything seemed so quiet. There was an address written on the bag and Thomas tried to find that house. The villagers did not want to make a sound for fear that Thomas would burn down the village (although Thomas was good, people thought he was bad). Thomas then found the correct address and approached the home of the boy and his family.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! The dragon! Catch him!" screamed the boy. The villagers threw buckets of water at Thomas and called him "The Destroyer" again. Thomas dropped the bag and ran away.
