Once upon a time there was a girl named Ellie she lived in a beautiful beach house with her mother and father. she loved swimming in the ocean. Together as a family they love to make sandcastles for the crabs to live in. Ellie loves to leave out food the seagulls. Ellies parents always told her to be brave and kind.

Ellies parents went on a boat ride to the island store on their ride there the boat that her parents were on caught on fire her father was the only survivor.

Many years later Ellie's father remarried a lady named Stella. Stella had two daughters named Jane and Julee. When Ellie first met her step sisters they were not very kind to her they made fun of her clothes and her hair.

One day Ellies father got really sick and passed away. Leaving Ellie to live with her step mother and step sisters.

Once her father died Stella and the girls stopped caring about Ellie. They started to treat her like a house servant instead. Ellie was kicked out of her room and moved to the lighthouse next door. The lighthouse seems like a nice quiet place to live but its very dark and cold inside.

Her stepsisters give her all kinds of chores to do. Such as clean their bedrooms, clean the kitchen, make breakfast, lunch, and dinner for them. Ellie did not mind because it took her mind off of her mother and father.

Ellie went to the market one morning to buy some groceries on her speed boat ride home she met a guy named AL. AL was shark fishing on the dock. Ellie asked him if shark hunting was fun? Al told her that he could teach her some time then take her out to lunch afterwards. Ellie very excited said yes and got in her boat and sailed off.

Later that night AL realized that he did not get the pretty girls name and that he had no way of finding her. so he told his father King Alexander that he wanted to have a ball to find the kind girl that he met at the docs this morning. Al knew that if he saw her he would know who she was.

The next day a letter from the king arrived to their house. Stella read the letter to the girls. She sent Ellie to the dress store to buy three dresses. Ellie thanked Stella for allowing her to get a dress but Stella told her no that the dresses were fore Julee, Jane, and her self then said Ellie will not be going because she doesn't have a dress and no one wants a servant as a wife.

Once Ellie got back from picking up her sisters gowns she decided that she was going to go to the ball no matter what her family said, so she made her own dress so that she was able to go to the ball. She made her gown out of her mothers old gowns.

The night of the ball Ellie went to the boat docs to get on the boats with her step mother and the girls. However the girls did not like that she made her own dress for the ball so they tore it up in to little pieces.

Once her step family left she went and sat by the ocean and cried. She heard a lady asking for an apple. Jumping up Ellie gave the little old lady swimming in the ocean her last apple that she had.

The voice of the sea said Ellie why are you so upset. Ellie was confused to how she knew her name but told the voice of the sea how her step mother and sisters did not let her go to the ball. the voice of the sea told her that that was just not right.

The old lady asked Ellie if she believed in magic and fairy tales? Ellie replied if course I do! The old lady said well my dear I am your fairy godmermaid. My love you deserve to be at that ball just as much as every one else does.

Lets get you ready for the ball first let me call a few dolphin friends so you can get to the ball. next we will need a dress. with a snap of her fingers a beautiful dress magically appears on Ellie.
