My name is Joe and I have a son named Jamal. He always told me he wanted to grow up and be just like me.

I worked at State Farm for many years.

Until one day I got fired.

On the walk home all I could think about is how i'm going to tell my 5 year old son that his dad lost his job.

As I walked home I went through the park. A million things were going through my mind and the main thing was, what am I going to do for my family now?.

As I walked up to my doorstep I could hear my son from the window screaming "daddy's home!" Once I opened the door, my son Jamal was right there.

Jamal hopped into his dad's arms and hugged him tight and asked how was his day at work. He said good as always but, he didn't want to tell his son he got fired today.

Joe told Jamal to go change so they could go to the park and play Softball with the other kids.

Before Joe went to the park he went up stairs to call his mom to let her know he got fired. His mother's name is Mrs. Mac. She picked up the phone and he didn't waste any time telling her what happen and he broke down.

Jamal came in the room after he got ready and said let's go dad Joe said I love you mom I'm talking Jamal to the park I'll call you once I get in she said love you too and hung up.

Joe started to have a conversation about how he lost his job and Ray cut him off and said "say no more" and put the drugs on the table and Joe looked up and said I Know what I have to do. and Ray left out the door.

She told him to stop crying and to keep his head up it's going to be alright. I will help you know that but you just have to start looking for jobs starting now and once he heard that from his mom it went through his head and he started looking every where for jobs but couldn't find anything.

He soon started to get depressed because he ran out of money which was in his bank account that he had saved up.

The next day he called one of his old friends from back in the day named Ray to come over. See the friend he invited wasn't the average friend he was someone you wanted to stay away from because of the attention he brings. He sells drugs to anyone who asks for it and has a big house and nice cars.
