It was Gracie's first day of school at Bluewave Elementary School. When she got to class she noticed she had it with her best friend Rose. The principle announced cheer try-outs on the intercom , Gracie and Rose always dreamed of being school cheerleaders,Gracie has been in gymnastics since she was 4, Rose since she was 5. They went to get their forms from the cheer coach to fill it out and get it signed.

They got home and showed their parents and got the forms signed. The girls woke up the next morning, got dressed for school forms in hand and took it the cheer coach as soon as they got to school.

After school the girls practiced everyday till try-outs. Then days later it was the day the principle came on the intercom and said "All future cheerleaders trying out please report to the gym." Gracie grabbed her bags and walked down to the gym and met up with Rose. As she arrived they was handed a paper Gracie had 12 and Rose had 16.

The girls waited till their number was called. Gracie walked to the stage then coach Aubry looked at her clipboard then back at her. "Gracie it is?" Gracie replied "yes." She got into place took a breath and they started her music, and she began her cheer. Rose sat in the audience and watched till her turn.

Both girls were nervous they did not do well. Days later the results came in, they was so excited both made the team. The coach gave all the girls a copy of the football schedule were they would be cheering at.

After school they went down to the field for practice. While walking down there they noticed the football players also practicing. One player caught Gracie's eye, Braden White, the quarterback. They start there routines for the upcoming game that Friday.
